Very well made of a solid rubber like material. Would easily stand up to small child's play but is attractive enough to be a display piece as well.

I thought for the price it might be cheaply made but it is sturdy and beautiful! My granddaughter loves it!

Great quality and beautiful details. My kids grew up playing with Schleich toys. The details are amazing and the are so durable. We have many, oh so many, that my kids played with almost 20 years ago. Few of them have any damage. Even the fabric pieces that came with them have held up really well. The bridles and horse blankets still survive! Occasionally I find one of the animals in the yard that was left behind - and usually they clean up almost like new. (We also have a barn and a few animal pens too. and fairies, unicorns, pegasus, dinosaurs, etc) This recent purchase was for a daughter's wedding, actually for her fiancé. It was part of a survival kit and a warning of what's to come when they have kids, or if she comes home with a horse someday. lol

My daughter loves these toys. They're cute, quality-made products. It's a great size, not overly large, so it's easy to play with. She will continue to collect as many of these as she can.

It is five (5) inches tall, bay color, sensibly priced for a child toy. unbreakable with typical use, and attractive enough to use for home decor as well as appealing and pretty to handle

Good but the paint wash off if you put it in water

I had to order this particular horse twice, the first one I got was very poorly painted and the face/mane details were not in the right places. The second one I got is charming and has the lovely texture these figures often have and no blemishes, though the detailed mane pictured on this particular horse simply will not come as shown. The mane paint WILL extend over the body where it shouldn't and the detail will not be there, these are mass-produced and whoever paints them is not going to pay attention to that much detail (understandably). Honestly, I would not mind paying more for these to be perfectly painted, but I understand these are mostly being bought as gifts for children who can't really tell the difference, which is fine. The second horse I got was good enough and is very beautiful regardless: the model's pose and proportions are very organic and have a beautiful movement, if repainted it would make an amazing figure (which I might do in the future). A welcome addition to a Schleich collection, but a warning to those collectors who like perfection in these models, don't expect it with this particular horse.
