BTSD-home Adjustable Bed Risers 4 Inch, 8 Pack

Working with a client who find it hard to get out of a chair. Well, I put these units under her chair. She can now get out of her chair onto her walker. We are both happy and proud.

These risers worked very well with my couch where I stacked 2 risers for each of the 5 feet of the couch. They also worked very well for a covered table I used as a TV stand where I stacked 4 risers for each of the 4 legs of the table. They were very sturdy. I often needed to shift the couch slightly to adjust a cover and it was easy to shift the couch slightly without it coming off the risers.

The price was very reasonable for my increased sense of security. I previously had used the Mainstays risers and they eventually gave way which was very disturbing and I had an extra one so I replace the one that collapsed but every time I got into bed I was afraid another would give way. After replacing those other risers with these Risers, I feel so much more relaxed getting into bed knowing they have an increased weight capacity and are made so much better.

This product is great! I was quite skeptical about using bed risers simply because I ultimately expected them to be cheap and flimsy, but after setting them up yesterday, I’m a believer! Even after the kid test, the dog test, and the *ahem* test, my bed didn’t budge an inch! The grips that go in the top and around the bottom work like a charm, and honestly, I bet a truck could drive over one and it would be just fine! Now to buy longer bedding and under bed storage and I’ll be all set!

Perfect! In this age of shoddy products, its surprising to find one that has every possible feature, done perfectly. A rubbery non-slip base that snaps on its base, to protect the floor. A rubbery non-slip pad that its inside the top receptacle, so the foot of the bedframe doesn't shift around. The riser itself has thick, heavy-duty walls of plastic, reinforced inside with crosspieces. plastic. My bed has a bolted-on, old-fashioned wooden headboard that has its own sturdy posts, and it's these posts rather than the casters on the bedframe, that bear the weight of the head of the bed. The receptacle at the top of the risers is just right for fitting the "legs" of the headboard. I don't need risers for the foot of the bed, because the object is to have just my head and torso elevated (reflux). Very happy to find this excellent product and at a good prive!
