Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’ll use Fumoto drain valves on every vehicle and engine I own. I’ve put them on my last few vehicles, my tractors, and anything else that needs an oil change. The quality is top notch, classic reliable Japanese engineering. They make draining oil effortless and way less messy. The install is quick and straightforward, and I have never had a leak or problem. This one went on my Toyota Sequoia and fit perfectly. It did not interfere with the skid plate or anything else. Oil changes are much easier now and I don’t have to deal with stripping the drain bolt or making a mess. Absolutely worth the money if you want to save time and keep things clean. I recommend these to everyone.

This makes oil changes soooooo much easier and a lot less messy. Highly recommend getting one of these. Great quality. Easy to install. Doesn't leak at all. I ended up getting the shorter version as my vehicle has a skid plate and I didn't want to risk having any clearance issues. Double check your own vehicle for any kind of skid plate or splash guard and do some measuring to know what size you should get.

These things are great. After buying and using 6 of these I cannot think of reason to be nervous about them. If you think you are going to strike things and break this off you are worried about the wrong thing. You will rip off or crack your oil pan before you damage these. Improved the oil change experience to not worry about bringing a wrench just for the bolt. Plus you can easily redirect messy used oil around all sorts of frame parts with a short hose. You will never have to worry about gasket failure if you never have to remove the plug.

These drain valves are great for changing oil on my vehicles. They reduce the mess of oil spraying all around under the truck and car. Speeds up the operation and avoids getting burned by hot oil.

I have 3 of the Fumoto Valve. Now based on the fact I told you I have 3, it's a good thing. I'm not so much of a mechanic myself but I like doing my oil changes cause it saves me money, time and gas having to drive to a shop to get it done. This makes oil changes less messy and easier to do at home. Technically pays for itself when you do a few oil changes in my opinion. Below I'll list the pros and cons. Pros: • Less mess and makes oil changes convenient. • Great build quality. Very resilient and lasts a lifetime of vehicle unless you smash these hard on something while driving. • Convenient lever for ease of use with choke collar. Attach a tube to the end and drain it to a draining pan. Cons: • It takes a while to drain. It's slower than draining without one.

This product is a great product and built with strength. My rating is due to how it fits in the oil pan that results in oil remaining in the pan after draining for an oil change

Been using it for almost year, I drive very aggressive on the street, and highways, regularly standing on the gas pedal every chance I get as well as blasting through many 20mph and even some 15mph speed bump on stock suspension it did not come close making contact with the ground, and also not a single leak at all. Really easy to install, and even better to change your oil. For me to change my oil I only need a socket wrench for the skit plate and the oil filter attachment. Draining the oil with this makes zero mess. Definitely worth getting one if you are doing your own oil change. Although the gasket included definitely will not last a lifetime through the many heat cycles it goes through.

Toyota Yaris 2015. Perfect fit. The oil drains a bit slower than normal but sure makes the job cleaner. Keep the little black clip to secure the lever.

Bought this for my 5th Gen 4Runner. The best mod for an oil change. On my next oil change it'll be so easy and not messy as before. Should have bought this a long time ago.

Fumoto valves dont really work with modern toyota sedans as it reduces ground clearance. So a waste of my money and cant return it. Would recommend you have an suv or sed with recessed pan. It will add ~1 of height over your existing drain bolt so measure. Good quality though
