The format does not work for me. The first issues/chapter is Superman and Wonder Woman travel off plannet to get a gift for Batman. It's a complete filler story that really adds nothing to the ongoing story arc. I would give this one 3.5 stars. I do not even include the two story arcs. Since her physical battle ended, Wonder Woman is captured by the Sovereign, who will try to spiritually, psychologically, or physically break her. This story would have been 5 stars if it had been seen through to the end. Get rid of the first stand alive story to get the extra space to finish this one. 4 stars. The prelude to Absolute Power and two Wonder Woman stories teaming up with Damian to break the heroes our during Absolute Power. 4 stars again. The artwork was perfect for every story, especially issue 8 the old school art with old school thinking/rhetoric. Good stories but terrible format, finish one before moving on to the next. Book of two stories
This is a book of two stories. I like each of them separately but mixed together without finishing either one? The format does not work for me. Wonder Woman for the 21st century
Wonder Woman has seen some great writers. Gail Simone, Greg Rucka come to mind. But what Tom King does here is nothing less than nail the core of Diana's character. Unbreakable. Especially in the first half of this collection drawn by Daniel Sampere. The second half, part of a big crossover, is not that convincing. But before you get everything from subtile humor to heartbreking drama. Recommended.

Greate visually, but.
The product is visually stunning, I really love Sampere drawing, but I wish they didn’t put Absolute Justice segment in the book because it’s doesn’t bring anything to the Sovereign storyline.
