Not easy to use

Really doesn't work. Doesn't understand the most concise phrases and translations (when you can get them) are frequently too literal/completely off. Flimsy, cheap feeling device with buttons that don't do what they are supposed to do. No way something you would use to have a conversation with someone as shown in their promo videos. Tried to send it back but they refused. Should've known better. Tainting my view of crowdfunding although I have supported several other projects with superior results. Still would love to send it back.

Unlike other reviewers, I have had nothing but positive results. I was able to use it at a conference and it interpreted my English to Chinese perfectly. I was swamped by people asking where I purchased the device and how could they get one.Note, with every device that involves connections with a sim card or phone, you may have to reset in order to reconnect. Highly recommend.

I’ve viewed all the UTube videos and bought two of them and neither works. I’m out about $500 dollars and it won’t do anything! Buttons are not manageable.

I bought the translator ant it worked okay for about a month and the sound stopped working. I have been begging the Travis team for a replacement for months and I just keep getting put off. I never did receive my SIM card I paid 35 dollars for. Very bad customer service. Looks like I made a bad investment in Travis the Not so Good Translator.
