Work fabulously
These solar security lights are incredibly bright and effective. Once installed, they provided strong illumination exactly where needed, making outdoor areas feel much safer and more visible at night. The solar charging works well, and the lights turn on reliably after dark. The motion sensor is responsive and activates quickly when movement is detected. Installation was easy, and the adjustable panels make it simple to position the lights for optimal coverage. They feel durable and weather-resistant, holding up well outdoors. These are a great option if you want strong security lighting without wiring or ongoing electricity costs.

Great outlet for areas without power
These lights are great. They pick up motion well and are very bright. The solar panel works well and they have not run out of power for me but I only have them set to only on with motion in a high traffic area.

awesome light except it's wall mount only until now...
I bought this light as a replacement for a smaller generic solar light that I've had up for a few years now and it is a SIGNIFICANT upgrade. it's very bright, but moreover, the light covers more of my yard and driveway than it used to and the motion sensor is also way wider than the ones I typically have seen, further, because the various bits are somewhat articulating, I can point them in the direction I want them, it's very adjustable. The one thing I really didn't like though is that out of the box, it ONLY has a screw mount. it comes with 2 screws and a plastic mount. the mount is well built, but I don't have any place to screw it into my exterior walls because I have angled vinyl siding. the previous lights have all been adhesive mount onto the top part of my exterior screen door (above the glass) which is where I wanted this. The mount it comes with does NOT have a flat back (probably to save on injection molding costs and improve part strength) so I spent an afternoon designing, printing, and iterating a 3d printed screw to adhesive adapter (the white part in my pictures) that I have released for free on printables. if you do a search for philips solar adapter on printables, it'll pop right up. the adapter does require some VHB tape and some heat-set inserts (cheap, super easy), and a pair of m3x8 or m3x10 screws, but it works FANTASTICALLY, like an off-the shelf part and was exactly what I needed to get this mounted to my door where it belongs.

Insanely BRIGHT and SUPER Sensitive – My Backyard Is Now a Stadium! 💡🌞🔦
I moved these Philips Solar Security Light with 302 LEDs and 1200lm on my garage wall, and holy cow—this thing is BRIGHTER than I ever imagined! The 6500K cool white light floods my entire driveway and yard like daylight at night. No more dark corners where critters (or creeps) can hide; it lights up everything crystal clear. The 1200 lumens pack a serious punch—way brighter than my old wired floodlights! These are highly moveable-- like front to the back...no problem, except for the Deer But the real MVP is how VERY sensitive the motion sensor is. It picks up movement from super far away (like 30+ feet) and at wide angles—cats, cars pulling in, even leaves blowing sometimes trigger it instantly. No delays; it snaps on full blast right away. Adjustable modes let me tweak sensitivity and timer, so it's perfect now without false triggers all night. Solar-powered means zero wiring or electric bills—it charges fully even on cloudy days and runs strong through the night. Waterproof build has handled rain and wind like a champ. Easy wall-mount install in minutes. If you want blazing bright security that detects everything and costs nothing to run, this Philips light is a total winner. My property feels safer and looks epic lit up—highly recommend! 🚀

Motion on limit too short
I like it, it works, it’s good quality, installation was easy, the only thing I don’t like is that light does not stay on long enoughI didn’t catch that limitation n the description 25 seconds and it’s off the other modes don’t fit my needs. If the subject moves you won’t be able to see it.

Bright enough and easy to aim, but battery life struggles without perfect sun
Purchase context: I grabbed the 2‑pack to cover a side gate and driveway without running wire. I wanted strong motion response, flexible aiming from the 3‑head design, and dependable overnight runtime. Unboxing/setup: Everything was in the box—mounting hardware and simple instructions. Install took about 10 minutes per light: two screws into the wall, flip the switch, and aim the three heads plus panel. No wiring needed. Specs verified on mine: 3 adjustable heads (rotate/tilt) with cool‑white LEDs Listed up to 1200 lm, 7000K color PIR sensor with wide detection angle 3 modes: motion‑only 100%; 10% dusk‑to‑dawn; or 3% dusk‑to‑dawn with motion boost Weather rating: IP65 Performance and real‑world takeaways (mix of highs, mediums, and lows): Brightness and coverage (high): When they’re topped up, the light is crisp and covers a wide area. The three heads make it easy to “paint” light across the driveway and gate without glare. For security walk‑ups and packages, it’s plenty bright. Motion detection (medium): Detects people and cars reliably when mounted 7–9 ft high and aimed slightly downward. Angle matters—too high or off to the side and you’ll miss some motion, too low and you’ll catch pets or swaying branches. Battery/charging (low to medium): This is the swing factor. Charge time is longer than I’d like, and if the panel doesn’t get strong, direct sun for several hours, the lights fade early or switch off before dawn—especially in the always‑on dim modes. On motion‑only mode, they last much better, but several overcast days in a row still shorten runtime. Modes (medium): Motion‑only is the most battery‑friendly and what I settled on. The 10% dusk‑to‑dawn looks nice at first, but it eats into the battery unless you have excellent sun exposure. Build/weather (high): Housings feel solid, seals look good, and they’ve shrugged off heat and rain so far. The heads hold position once set. Who it’s for: Spots with reliable, direct sun (ideally 6–8 hours) where you want wide, bright motion lighting without wiring Users who will run motion‑only most nights for better battery life Who should skip: Shady locations or areas with frequent cloudy stretches Anyone expecting all‑night dim glow and full‑power boosts regardless of weather Tips to get the best results: Mount where the panel gets midday sun; avoid shadows from eaves and trees Start with motion‑only mode to gauge your sun/battery balance Aim the center head on the target area and the side heads to fill dark corners Wipe dust off the panel monthly; it noticeably hurts charging if you don’t Pros: Wide, adjustable coverage with clean, cool‑white light Responsive motion when properly aimed Simple, tool‑light installation; no wiring Weather resistance has been solid so far Cons: Battery life drops fast on dim‑glow modes or after cloudy days Takes time to fully charge; placement is critical Not ideal if you require guaranteed all‑night illumination Bottom line: A capable, flexible solar security light when it gets strong sun—bright enough and easy to aim. If the panel isn’t perfectly placed or the weather’s gloomy, battery life suffers, so plan on motion‑only mode and careful placement to get consistent results.

Solar powered outdoor LED lights
These are bright LED lights that need nothing but a little bit of sun. Quick and easy install since there's no wiring. Even if they don't get a ton of sun they still work well. Phillips is a high quality brand and the price is perfect for two of them
