Yes we eat everything on paper plates !
These have become our everyday paper plates! The pattern is simple and cute, and the 10-inch size is perfect for full meals. Theyโre much sturdier than I expected and hold up really well, even with sauces, dressings, and other liquids without getting soggy or bending. They stay stable, donโt fold under the weight of food, and can fit a generous portion. Great quality for the priceโI keep buying these because theyโre reliable and make cleanup so easy!

A Paper Plate Odyssey: My Monumentally Long and Detailed Review of Amazon Basics Ultra Paper Plates
Let me begin by saying that when I embarked on the perilous and deeply personal journey of selecting disposable dinnerware, I had no idea I was about to encounter a product that would upend my relationship with circular pressed pulp forever. Enter: Amazon Basics Ultra Paper Plates, 10.06-Inch (204 Count) โ a name that will surely be etched in my domestic chronicles beside other legends like โThat One Time I Bought the Wrong Size Trash Bagsโ and โThe Great Sponge Reordering Debacle of 2022.โ But today isnโt about failure. No, dear reader. Today is about triumph. It's about resilience. It's about a paper plate that dares to dream beyond the flimsy realms of its party-store peers and into the robust, gravy-defying stratosphere of greatness. THE UNBOXING (Yes, It Deserves Its Own Section) I ordered the plates at 11:37 p.m. on a Thursday, a time when all great life decisions are made. They arrived approximately 14 hours later โ a speed so dizzying I began to wonder if Jeff Bezos himself had air-dropped them onto my porch. The box was no-frills, as one would expect from the Basics line โ a humble brown vessel bearing the Amazon smile, but inside... oh, inside... the packaging revealed 204 glistening discs of engineered utility. Each stack stood tall like the Twin Towers of Disposable Flatware, swaddled in plastic with the quiet confidence of a product that knows its purpose. FORM AND FUNCTION: A SEDUCTIVE DANCE Let us speak now of the plate itself. Ten-point-zero-six inches of reinforced pulp magnificence, with a gentle concave center designed โ one assumes by aerospace engineers โ to cradle everything from rigatoni to a particularly generous serving of rotisserie chicken. The texture? Smooth and matte, like the pages of an expensive art book that went to state college. The rim? Ribbed with subtle, almost Grecian elegance. You could host a toga party and call it historically accurate. You could place olives and brie on these plates and not feel like youโre cheating on your charcuterie board. And letโs talk about that rigidity. Friends, I once placed an entire slice of watermelon, three deviled eggs, two ribs, and a scoop of baked beans onto one plate and held it with one hand. It did not bend. It did not shiver. It simply bore the weight of my gluttony like Atlas holding the sky. THE SAUCY TRIALS: A TEST OF STRENGTH In the name of science, I performed a series of stress tests, each more absurd than the last. Test 1: Microwaved Lasagna Verdict: The plate held strong, absorbing just enough grease to remind me Iโm a sinner, but not so much that it compromised structural integrity. Test 2: Leftover Stir Fry with Soy Sauce and Regret Verdict: Not a drop leaked. The plate developed a charming warble along the edges but never folded. Test 3: The โSauce Bombโ Challenge (Pulled Pork + Mac & Cheese + Ranch Dressing + a Fried Egg) Verdict: I wept. Not because the plate failed, but because I failed it by not believing in it sooner. ECOLOGY AND ETHICS (THE PART WHERE I FEEL VAGUELY GUILTY) Now look, Iโm not going to lie. These plates are not crafted from responsibly sourced bamboo hand-pressed by monks in the Himalayas. Theyโre not compostable in your backyard next to your kale scraps and failed sourdough starter. But they are coated to be soak-proof, and that coating likely contains whatever modern science needs to repel chili. So yes, they may outlive me in a landfill โ but I like to think theyโll do so proudly, whispering to the earthworms, โI once held pulled pork without flinching.โ USE CASES BEYOND THE OBVIOUS Frisbee substitute in light wind (donโt recommend, but it works) Cat feeding station (surprisingly appreciated by my discerning feline) Emergency fan during a Florida power outage Inspiration for minimalist wall dรฉcor (204 plates = entire gallery) FINAL THOUGHTS (YES, FINALLY) If you are a person who enjoys eating off a plate โ and I assume you are, unless youโre a raccoon or my cousin Greg โ then these Amazon Basics Ultra Paper Plates deserve your consideration. They are not flashy. They are not compostable. They are not made by artisans who whisper to the trees before harvesting their fibers. But they work, and they work so well, you might find yourself whispering, "Wowโฆ this is a damn good plate." I leave you with this: Would I recommend them? Yes. Would I trust them with my potato salad? Yes. Would I eat a full rack of ribs while standing in a yard during a thunderstorm with one of these plates in my hand? I already have.

Less Dishes Equals Less Stress
It had been a decade since I last purchased a paper plate. I recall them being expensive if you purchased the fancy ones that didn't collapse. I recently found myself in need for an upcoming picnic. These, my friend are affordable, sturdy and big enough for a decent sized meal! I now have discovered by using these affordable plates, I am running my dishwasher less AND I am not feeling overwhelmed by dirty dishes. In my part of the country electricity is expensive. I highly recommend these plates!

Sturdy
I really like these paper plates. I usually get great value brand but these are much more sturdy and heavy weight, I don't have to double them up like the other brand. Good price and better quality I recommend these for everyday use, or for party, cookout. You won't be spilling your food because they don't collapse. Highly recommend

Save yourself some work
Does the trick. I am not well right now so what ever I can do to minimize housework is a plus. I like these paper plates because they do not leak through even when I use them in the microwave. Also they hold up to cutting without cutting through. Perfect. Good price for the quality and quantity.

As good as some name brand Paper Plates!!
These Amazon Basics Ultra Paper Plates are great! They remind me of another name brand that claim the same as these paper plates. They are very strong and sturdy. Nice looking pattern. I have one tiny thing to say about these paper plates that would be considered negative & it could be the timing of the delivery or just a fluke but when I go to get a paper plate they are stuck together! Other than that I really like them! I'm going to buy them again & again!
