Ce capteur de présence détecte également la luminosité, ce qui en fait un parfait accessoires pour gérer de façon totalement automatique, l'éclairage d'une pièce. Il est capable de détecter plusieurs personnes dans son champ de détection de presque 50m2 et de les positionner assez précisément sur la carte de façon a déclencher des automatisations dans des situations précises. Ce qui en fait un capteur très nettement plus avancé qu'un simple détecteur de mouvements. Sans que cette fonction ne soit cumulable avec la détection de personnes, il peut aussi faire office de détecteur de chute. Dans ce cas l'installation est un peu différente, je n'ai pas pu tester ceci. Compatible avec HomeKit, il permet de gérer une bonne partie de ma domotique en ajoutant une donnée cruciale : la présence ou non de quelqu'un.

Der Aqara Präsenzsensor FP2 lässt sich über das Apple Home‑Protokoll problemlos in Home Assistant einbinden – die Integration funktioniert zuverlässig. Besonders positiv fällt die Möglichkeit auf, mehrere Zonen einzurichten; die Erkennung ist präzise und reagiert auch bei leichten Bewegungen. Die Zoneneinstellungen müssen jedoch ausschließlich in der Aqara‑App vorgenommen werden; danach werden die konfigurierten Zonen von Home Assistant erkannt und können dort genutzt werden. Alles in allem ein genauer und vielseitiger Sensor, dessen Konfiguration etwas umständlich ist.

Firstly, this device is Home Assistant & Alexa friendly without an Aqara hub. Secondly and very importantly, this is a presence sensor, NOT a motion detector! It detects a human body in a room. This means you can use it to keep a light on whilst you are in the room, even if there is little to no movement. It detects presence, distance [from the sensor] and light level in lux which can be shown within in HA. In the Aqara app you can see motion detection and light level and distance on a grid. Within Amazon Alexa you can see presence only [detected or not]. No light level or distance. I've set this up to turn on a light if it detects presence using HA. It works very well. It is almost instant. It isn't cheap, but if you want presence [not motion] to be detected, this is fantastic. Obviously this costs a lot more than a mere motion detector as there is more "brains" going on. Would I buy it again? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes, if presence detection is what you need.

Its a great unit and the installation is not hard at all I like how I can make secondary zones via the GUI in the app. Its accurate overall when working with HA I noticed a few-second delay at times. Installation is easy with the app so its not hard to get working. The value overall is good. It even detects my dog without problems I will say the IOS app is a more of a pain since it by default adds them into the Apple Home software so if you are useing home assistant, you will need to go though the menu to remove them from the apple systems. I had no problems having HA see these devices.
