The Penguin Concise Encyclopedia

Highly delighted ,a little hard on the eyes but that's my failing not the encyclopdia's contains words I never even knew existed,great for crosswords.

Found it difficult to get an encyclopedia at an affordable price, this book is well written and informative.I only gave it 4 stars because the print is a bit on the tiny side.

Unfortunate give the encyclopedia was personalised so I was unable to give it as a gift which meant I had to keep it. As far as the enclycopedia is confirmed I am happy with it.

The problem is that which is affecting you, the companies that sell books - no one reads anymore because of the computer and Internet. #2. This book that I ordered was excellent for older children in High School and adults but not for young teenagers for whom I had ordered it. I no longer know what to order! Thank you, if you read this! And, for myself, Carlos Ruiz Zafon greatly amused me. Excellent writer!

Exactly as advertised.used book, but In excellent condition

I bought this book as a present for my mother because her last encyclopedia was published in 1988. It was a good find as there are less general encyclopedias available because most people have access to the internet and do not use books anymore. She was very pleased with it and uses it every day when doing crosswords.

Was virtually like new when it arrived.Very comprehensive and informative.

Disappointed with quality of cover, content leaves a lot to be desired , by comparison to ' New World' poor !
