Amazing model. Got it built in 3 days, working on it about 5-6 hours each day. Runs smoothly and looks great. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

Took a while to put together. Some instructions aren't real clear. Once together it's great. Actually runs. Good price.

This kit was amazing. Its been a few months since purchase ans i still play with it from time to time. Smooth gear shifting, chains move freely, cams and crank are smooth. Great gift for a gearhead who also loves their childhood memories of building blocks. Worth the money. Easy instructions to follow. Had all parts. Still holding up strong.

This is the worst model I have ever attempted to put together I do not recommended it it really sucks😖😖 I will send it back and request a refund Don’t buy it

Very large engine build. A lot of detail from crank shaft to cams, valves and timing chains. Realistic appearance. Interesting speed gearbox. This was challenging and instructions are good. Some parts need glue to hold in place.

Very good model .Lots of fun to build. Only problem there was 4 pieces missing. Two in the transmission. It work just the same bit only one gear instead of four. Also two blocks missing which did not cause a problem. Wish there was an easy way to get the missing parts.

I purchased the Orange V8 engine model truck kit with transmission. This was difficult to build and follow even as an engineer. Here are some of the complaints I had after attempting to build this: - The instructions are all in the isometric view so it makes it difficult to see in some situations for the alignment of parts. It would be better to make the assembly clear with flat front, top, or side views for part assembly, not everything has to be isometric for each step. - Very difficult to connect and remove pieces. If something is assembled incorrectly it's hard to pull parts out or insert things in. I bought a similar kit for someone older and I imagine if they were building this they would have a lot of difficulty trying to do the assembly. I'm guessing maybe the tolerance is off for some parts? The extruded cross pieces take a lot of effort to put in. - Assembly steps could be simplified further. Some of the assembly for components serve no purpose except for additional steps and maybe aesthetics. More structural support and reinforcement could be incorporated to components to make them more rigid. - Several parts were missing making it difficult to make a functioning model. A gear was missing in the transmission so it will not work. - No spare components. - Flimsy construction for some components. The piping especially barely stays on I have to say that was the most frustrating due to the number of times it fell apart. Where parts are being attached to the main body and are just there for aesthetics, there has to be a strong connections in multiple places. You can't just have cantilevered assembly components that are unsupported. - Battery storage is inaccessible. There's no way to easily replace the batteries on this. It's buried behind some of the piping and you need to take apart multiple pieces to get to the battery. I'll be getting a refund. At this price where this is comparable to the cost of Lego I have higher expectations for cost and functionality. I didn't even bother trying to complete this because I know without the missing gears it won't even work. Also with the flimsy construction I'm sure every time I go to move this pieces will fall apart. I'll just say that I did enjoy some of the process, but I was frustrated and disappointed in a lot of ways. I'm not going to bother completing this, because what's the point. They have some of the basic elements down for a camshaft, pistons, and transmission. Maybe they've perfected it on other models. This design could use some improvement.
