I love this item! Just arrived today and I immediate placed it in the freezer. Tried it out in a couple of hours and my shoulder pain melted away. Not sure how long it lasted, just know I felt soooooo much better. My intention is to use this after my home PT exercises. It is a gel product if that matters. I was able to put it on without assistance, just have to set the arm part first and self thread the strap and you should be able to do it alone as well. Good luck in all recovery stages.

Pretty good, stays cold about 30 minutes, gets cold in the freezer in about an hour laid latish. It does slip off of my shoulder but I'm pretty small.

This ice bag is great. Just put the ice in the bag, and it’s big enough to cover the shoulder and the upper arm.

Well made, holds the cold, but sleeve part of it does not adjust, that part of it was too tight for me, gave it to my daughter.

For the price, this ended up being pretty handy for covering the entire shoulder and upper arm when icing. Using it for heat seems less effective. Doesn't hold heat very long. But if you are looking to ice your shoulder, it's perfect.

Bought for my son to use for recovery due to pitching. The simplicity of filling it with ice and desired water amount makes it pliable around his arm and shoulder. The more ice, the colder it gets. It is more comfortable and stays colder longer than previous cold pack we bought with similar design.
