For the money paid for this device, for how easy it is to use, this is a pretty good device. I can see this being useful for checking out hard to reach/see issues for automobiles, as a bore scope, use cases where the issue you are looking for is small and in a confined area. I purchased to send through duct work, inside interior wall channels and it was not so easy for me to get it to do what I wanted and see the entire area. I'm keeping it because I've always wanted one of these and it should do fine for what I've described. Definitely will use it to look inside automobile engine, cylinders/pistons during spark plug changes and for looking at the bore of my milsurp firearms. Hope it lasts! Oh, I have an Android phone. APP installed easily and functioned immediately.

The camera seems to be decent and worked for the project I needed it for. These typically don't last a long time, so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time, but there are no indicators at this time to suggest it won't. My only complaint is with the app. It's kind of buggy and would disconnect at times. It actually seemed to work better on an iPhone 10 than it did on a 12, but that could be coincidence. The picture quality was good enough, and I really wasn't expecting much else for this price point. The app gets very low ratings in the App Store, so I don't think I'm the only person to have these issues. There's also the question of what exactly the app is doing when running, but I think that's the same across all manufactures for these imported devices. So far, I haven't had any indications of malware, but I'm also quick to remove these applications as soon as I'm done using the device. From my perspective, these are good for short-term, essentially single-use, and that's the perspective from which I've reviewed this. Who knows if the app will still be available the next time I need it, but again, my experience is that these don't have longevity, so I'll probably just but another one when I need it next.

While it's true, as others have pointed out, that the picture quality is far from great, I would say that it serves the purpose. This is a must-have tool for any DIY'er, the application list is endless. The cable is pretty long and stiff enough to make it easy to direct where you need it. The app is straightforward - truly a plug-and-play experience.

Connected to the phone and app no problem. Picture looked good at first, but trying to fish it through a wall cavity is pretty hard to see anything. It’s very long and flexible to reach tough spots, has a decent light at the end also. Would help if it was a little more stiff to manipulate and maneuver it more precisely. Overall it’s pretty decent though
