We just purchased this and it is taking forever to heat up. The instructions state there is a button to adjust heat but we cannot find anything adjus

We used it for the first time tonight. The box and the instructions say there is a temperature control, but we couldn't find one. We cooked 4 waffles in our other one in the same time this "cooked" one. There was still raw dough in the middle of it. Returning ours tomorrow. :(

Where is the thermostat control regulator?

There isn't a separate control. The regulating thermostat and weighted lid ensure perfect and even browning.
