This does all the right things that you think it should. If you looking for a fast long stroke then this isn't for you. You get what you pay for if you want more power you gotta buy a better unit. The intensity all depends on how tight you are too. If your a tight novice it might struggle a little bit but if your more experienced it will speed up. It was very easy to assemble and get it working as soon as I found a mount for it. The power is fine depending on your level of experience. The sound level also depends on the same.

Works well has a great range of speed only thing I don't like is how loud it gets especially when you get up to the higher revolution it's just super loud

Worked fine at first, now months later no longer works at all and it was only turned on maybe four or five times for a few minutes at a time.

I use this to teach engineering students reciprocating mechanisms. Adapted to test ball point pen retracting life cycle.

The linear actuator stopped functioning, but worked with a bench power supply. If your motor stops working, it's most likely the power supply.
