North Spore ShroomTek All-in-One Mushroom Grow Bag, 4-Pack

I have used these for 3+ years. Never a contam problem -- EVER. For you growers of dung loving species, I used to grow in bins but faced contamination in about 50% of grows. These pretty much solve that, so I find it more economical to get consistent flushes from smaller bags than contaminated grows in larger ones.

These guys are amazing! 1. They have great products, fast colonization.. ive had 5 AIO shroomtek bags and did get contam in 1/5. I reached out to NS and let them know and they couldn't refund or replace the 1 bag due to it being past 30 days of my order so they game me store credit on the entire order! Couldn't believe it! Fast replies from customer service, even on the weekend! Side note, I think the 30 day rule is silly since it take over a month to see good growth or spot contamination... just saying but theyll give you credit which is basically the same..

I didn't actually get around to using this grow bag right away, but even with the delay, it worked perfectly! The instructions included are incredibly thorough and foolproof. They ensure that no matter what medium you choose to start with, you'll get highly successful growth and delivery. A wonderful all-in-one kit for both beginners and experienced growers.

Shipping was delayed by a week, bag looked too dry but I tried it anyway thinking maybe I was wrong (grain/all in one bags can be visually deceiving sometimes). I got another bag from another brand to compare the two side by side, and after two weeks I’ve got healthy colonization in that one and hard, contaminated lumps, sweet-sour smell, and sprouting grain with no signs of mycelium at all in this one. I followed all directions, checked bag seals, everything was sterile, and I know the liquid culture was good because I’ve still got a contaminant-free weeks old LC jar full of it, and it’s colonizing just fine in the other bag. Disappointed, for the money I expected good results, don’t think I’ll be using north spore anymore.

This brand never disappoints. Great quality, reliable, every time. I didn’t use the spore booster, never really needed to. I just poured some colonized grain into this bag this past week and already I have about 40% colonization. I’ve never had a contamination issue with this product, and I trust them implicitly. Price wise, they’re a little higher than some, but absolutely worth it for the piece of mind.

This is a solid product overall. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 bags I received ended up contaminated. That said, North Spore was quick to offer replacements, and their customer service alone is the reason I’m still giving this a strong review. I do larger bulk grows, and compared to traditional all-in-one bags, this design is actually much better. These bags colonize cleaner and faster in my experience, and the format makes them easier to work with than many standard AIO bags. The batch I received did seem a bit wet, which may have been due to shipping is such cold weather when they were received, which likely contributed to the contamination in two bags. I verified my liquid culture on agar beforehand, so I’m confident the issue was with the grain rather than my inoculant. That said, contamination can happen with any grow product, and it’s part of the learning process when trying new tek. Overall, I’m impressed with the design and performance of the bags that worked. North Spore is also sending two replacements, which shows they stand behind their products. I’m happy to give them another shot.

It shipped quickly, and was well packaged. I haven’t had it long enough to see how well it works. I will probably buy more soon.
