A very nice bit of retro 8 bit gaming. This little game system is ideal for the glove compartment. My 8 year old is intrigued by old computer games. I know have more kudos. and he loves playing it in the car. It saves him trying to mess about with my smartphone and trying to access Amazon music. . He still loves the natural world. This is so important to our young ones. I am encouraging his electronic interest and will buy a raspberry pi for coding and such like from Amazon. The future is old skool!.

Such good fun and soo many games to play with, no doubt this will be played with for a while. The size is great, in your pocket or handbag. Really pleased with it and excellent value for money.

I collect retro handhelds and bought this on a whim, not expecting much. It's smaller than I expected, but also chunky due to needing 3 AAA batteries. The games are high-colour but low frame-rate, reminiscent of pre-smartphone mobile games. There's precious few arcade classic clones (Frogger, Breakout, Tapper, Elevator Action, & Pang). There's also a couple of LCD game clones (Parachute, Bomb Sweeper, cement factory, maybe a couple more, not very familiar with them). Of the rest, about a third are match/gem puzzle games, a whole bunch of shooting galleries, some runners/endless platformers, and a few novelties. None of the games are great quality, but very few are unplayable in my opinion. There's also few duplicates, so the 153 games is an honest claim. Not terrible value for money (not counting batteries), but hard to imaging spending much time playing these games given competition from even the most basic phone games. The most entertaining aspect is probably the names, with classics like "Boldly Egg" and "Elude Balls". This is followed closely by the game of guessing from which 16-bit console game or 80's T.V show the music has been plagiarised.

such a simple and well priced item, i bought 2 of these, 1 for a secret santa gift and one for myself as i love older games. cannot fault this, great for when you have 5 minutes to spare and just want to throw back to some old games!

Amazing little game, but you'd expect it to last longer than a month 🤔

The kids laughed at the basic-ness of this game but always seem to have a good time playing. Good fun for the money.

Advertisement images and the box that it came in suggested that it was much larger than it actually is. Actual dimensions are given in game details. Game dimensions are 90mm x 50mm. Screen is very small 40mm x 30mm. Check actual dimensions before buying.

Es ist wirklich schwierig hierzu eine klare Meinung zu haben. Das Gerät ist sehr klein, eher was für Kinderhände als für Erwachsene. Die Qualität ist OK, die Steuerung akzeptabel präzise, der Bildschirm für die Größe nicht schlecht. Die Leistung des Geräts ist mäßig, Scrolling oder Sprites werden nur ruckelnd angezeigt, Animationen gibt es nicht wirklich. Insgesamt aber erstaunlich wenig störend, man kann alles gut spielen. Einen Kopfhöreranschluss gibt es nicht, der Sound ist wirklich fürchterlich für Außenstehende. Leider funktioniert es nur mit Batterien, es gibt keinen Anschluss für ein USB-Netzteil o.ä. Die Batterien halten ein paar Stunden, dann muss man wechseln. Es sind tatsächlich 153 verschiedene Spiele darauf, allerdings wiederholen sich die Prinzipien oft, manche Spiele scheinen einfach nur eine andere Grafik zu haben. Dennoch erstaunlich viele unterschiedliche Spiele. Es sind u.a. Umsetzungen alter Ideen, wie man sie von LCD-Spielen der frühen 80er kennt (Game & Watch) aber auch sehr einfache Formen von klassischen 8-Bit Spielen. Prinzipiell ist die Display-Auflösung zu niedrig um komplexe Handlungen abzubilden, entsprechend vereinfacht sind die meisten Spiele und machen nur ein paar Minuten Spaß, dann ist oft Ende. Mir erschließt sich nicht so recht, wer die Zielgruppe ist. Für Retro-Fans passt es nicht, weil es nur nachprogrammierte Spielprinzipien von alten Klassikern sind, die aber natürlich nicht die gleiche Nostalgie versprühen. Für Casual Gamer sind die Spiele einfach zu simpel, das Gerät zu klein. Und als Unterhaltung im Auto für den Nachwuchs scheidet es aus, weil man keine Kopfhörer anschließen kann und die Musik absolut nervtötend ist. Insgesamt ist das Ding irgendwie echt cool, gleichzeitig weiß man aber auch, dass man es nach ein paar mal Spielen nicht mehr rausholen wird. Für unter 10€ aber durchaus mal ein Spaß für die Kids, sofern die nicht mit Tablets oder Konsolen versorgt sind. ******Nachtrag Mein Sohn (7) spielt wirklich sehr gerne damit und holt es immer mal wieder für eine halbe Stunde raus. Allerdings sind Tablet oder moderne Konsolen für ihn eher stressig... Aber vielleicht als Idee was die Zielgruppe sein könnte.

Mon fils de 8 ans l adore ! Un nombre de jeux incroyables et pas de risque d addiction comme les jeux modernes à plateforme ! Ideal pour limiter la consommation tout en faisant plaisir a nos marmots !

J'ai acheté cette petite console rétro en deux exemplaires pour occuper mes enfants durant un vol en avion. Nous partons dans quelques jours, en attendant, ils ont voulu évidemment tester et ils y ont passé pas mal d'heures. Mon grand de 8 ans a apprivoisé très vite tous les jeux, pour le petit de 5 ans c'est plus compliqué, il y a des jeux qu'il ne comprend pas. J'ai juste un bémol, je trouve la console petite, je m'attendais à plus grand, surtout quand j'ai reçu les boîtes qui étaient grandes.
