When it first arrived I was impressed with the build quality, and how closely it appeared to be to my original louver assembly. The only obvious difference was no foam around the air ducts. I purchased some from Home Depot that worked. The problems started when I tried to install my hazard/button module into it and it snapped the plastic flanges off my module. Granted, the plastic was old, but there was no way it would've fit. I glued back what I could find then used my Dremel to cut away the excess plastic from the louver assembly, then it fit properly. There were at least three other little differences that prevented me from simply snapping it into place and installing it. After a few hours of fine tuning and test fitting it finally fit and it works well. The louvers move smoothly and are firm so they stay in position. Only time will tell how long it lasts. All in all, If you're prepared to take the time, and make the needed adjustments, you will save $ over the Toyota 55670-52030 which costs about $125. If you want to simply replace it which should take about 10 minutes, spend the extra $85.
