Great pantry staple
This Thai rice flour is a great staple to have on hand, especially if you do any gluten-free cooking or baking. The texture is very fine and consistent, which makes a big difference in recipesโit blends smoothly and doesnโt come out gritty. Iโve used it for coating, baking, and even thickening sauces, and it works really well across the board. The packaging was secure, and everything arrived fresh. Overall: reliable, versatile, and a great valueโdefinitely something Iโll keep stocked in my pantry.

Best price out there
This rice flour is very good quality. This is a must have go to product for Sourdough making. This product helps my dough not stick to the surface or the banneton. This is definitely worth a few dollars in cost to have a 1 pound bag of this rice flower. This bag of flour will last 200s of loaves. Iโm sure there are many many other uses for rice flour but this is what I used this for. There is no taste added to my dough and since it is gluten-free, my daughter can eat this with my gluten-free loaves that I make.

Sourdough baking
Great for sourdough proofing and fermentation. Just hopped on the sourdough trend and this flour is a great nonstick choice

Great for the price!!!
1st time using rice flour and at least my chicken strips/tenders are excellent. The floor traps in moisture and seasoning perfectly. I'm not up to date on "Gluten" vs. non? But I'm rockin' with this flour! I can see doing orange chicken, sesame, etc... And.... It's super soft/powdery but you actually don't use as much as regular flour??? Wow

Seems to work as expected
This was recommended to use before scoring sourdough loaves. Seems to work well. Texture is very fine

For the win
I made Thai wide rice noodles using this recipe: 1 cup rice flour, half a cup tapioca flour (or 1 and 1/4 cup), 1tsp salt, and 1.5 cups warm water and 2 tbsp vegetable oil. After mixing all the ingredients I let the mixture rest about 30mins to 1hr, and stir up again each time before pouring a new scoop into my 8x8 square pan (which fit nicely in my Hex wok). My noodle sheets came out amazing!! So good, we ate them all before I could remember to get a picture. Definitely buying this again!

Super fine texture and works beautifully on sourdough loaves.
This rice flour is just what I needed to make beautiful sourdough loaves. I use it on top of the loaf prior to scoring and baking. Rice flour doesn't burn like wheat flour, so it's my go to for making this. I like that it's gluten free and doesn't have much of a taste. The texture is akin to fine cornstarch and smooths onto the loaves evenly. This is a great value for the money!

Great for dusting the top of sourdough loaves
I'm so glad Amazon has products like this since it was not available in my local grocery. Rice flour is used on the top of sourdough bread before baking so you can see where you cut. You cut into the top of the loaf to make a place for the loaf to spread as it bakes and it doesn't get misshapen from the fermentation gasses. Slicing into the top allows the excess gas to escape. The rice flour gives a white background so a decorative pattern from the slices show. Some experienced bakers make beautiful patterns. Since the rice flour does not have gluten it doesn't get sticky and stays white. I haven't noticed if it has any flavor but you only sprinkle a thin layer of rice flour on the bread.
