This immersion blender is a great little workhorse. I like it so much I bought another for my mom as a gift. Love that it comes in multiple cute colors too. It makes quick work of creamy, blended soups and sauces, and it’s easy to clean as well. I also really like that you can remove the plastic pot guard. While I’m sure it’s useful to prevent scratching non-stick surfaces, I don’t like the idea of introducing plastic into my hot foods. Since we use cast iron and stainless steel cookware the plastic guard is something we never really need and I’m glad I can opt out of using it. Overall a fairly lightweight unit that is easy to use, and the button doesn’t take too much pressure to keep it activated either, which is nice. It seems like it has plenty of power and has never bogged down. Hopefully it will last us a long time.

I was replacing a broken stick blender and settled on this KitchenAid model with the accessories. While this isn’t the cheapest blender found on Amazon, it is the most trusted brand on Amazon (my opinion). This blender is sturdy and surprisingly quiet. Wire whisk attachment will come in handy for making dressings, whisking eggs and making whipped cream for desserts. Chopper is a decent size for smaller tasks like chopping herbs or nuts, dicing onions, etc. and has a no slip base. 4 cup covered pitcher is marked in metric and imperial increments, bottom has a no slip base. This stick blender with the accessories would actually be a great choice for someone with limited kitchen space or finances - buying a chopper, whisk, measuring cup and a stick blender separately would cost much more than what I spent here. Happy with this purchase.

Very nice product. It's reliable and effective, and frankly I think that a corded product is more appropriate for a tool like this. You can't have a battery run dry when you're cooking. Couldn't be happier with the product. Bonus points for cool retro color. I grew up with that shade in the late 60's/early 70's and it's neat to revisit it.

This KitchenAid variable speed immersion blender is great. It’s so much easier to use than another premium brand I have experienced where I had to press two buttons to get it started and then let go of one button to continue the operation of the blender. Maybe I’m just not coordinated but I couldn’t operate that kind. I have no hesitation in taking this blender out of the drawer and using it. It may sound silly but many times after I purchase kitchen appliances I am reluctant to use them because they are hard to assemble, difficult to clean or so many parts are involved that I have to read the directions again before using them. None of this is true with this blender . It has a good feel when I grip the handle and my finger fits right over blender operation button. The button has an easy touch, not too hard or soft which makes it easy to control the speed of blending. I initially didn’t think I would like the plastic piece that fits over the blade protector to prevent scratching cookware but it does stay attached and with a few tries it is easy to apply and remove. It would have been nice if the blade protecter had been silicone coated and then this piece wouldn’t be necessary. I also noticed a few reviews stating that this guard wasn’t included in their package. This might have been because they couldn’t find it in the packaging. It is tucked in on the back side of the formed inner box just like the wire whip which is included on the back side of the other half of the inner box. Once you begin to unpack the blender you’ll understand what I’m talking about. This blender has a lot of power. I haven’t blended any hard foods, only shakes, vegetables and small cut up pieces of chicken in soup liquid, but it has blended them smoothly without any little pieces or seeds left floating around. It is powerful enough to have quite a bit of suction as the blender head nears the bottom of the pan. This suction quickly snaps the head down onto the bottom of your container. If you are blending in a glass container be aware of this so you don’t crack the glass. All the parts are easily cleaned. I initially washed all the parts in the top section of the dishwasher to get them ready for use. I have only used the blender head with the attached shaft but I have attached all the other accessories and they all fit together properly and with ease. This blender has a nice clean look without any unnecessary protrusions and it is available in a lot of colors to match or blend with most any kitchen decor. My favorite was the white or you might say “no color”. The only other thing I might have done differently was to buy the cordless version even though it was twice the price at the time I purchased mine. That would have made it easier to use (as long as it still had the same amount of power), because I do have trouble keeping the cord out of the container area. I’m thinking in time the cord will relax a little and won’t bend so much in the direction of the container. However, there is a hard section of the cord at its connection to the blender that extends out at a 90 degree angle away from the blender which helps to keep the cord away from the working area. I’m giving this blender four stars because it is comfortable and easy to use and it seems to have plenty of power but I would like for the blade covering to be silicone coated to eliminate the need for the plastic guard.

Good price. Works well. I can liquify in a bowl rather than having to dirty a blender.
