I’m really impressed with the quality of this GE 6-Outlet Surge Protector. The 10-foot cord is a game-changer — long enough to reach across a room without needing extra extensions, but still flexible and easy to tuck away. The build feels sturdy and well-made, exactly what you’d expect from GE. The twist-to-close safety covers are a great addition, especially if you have kids or pets around. They give me peace of mind knowing unused outlets are protected. The “protected” indicator light is also super helpful so you always know if the surge protection is active and working. Overall, this power strip does exactly what it promises. Plenty of outlets, excellent cord length, and reliable surge protection. If you need something dependable for your electronics, this one is definitely worth it!

These are good quality outlet surge protectors by GE. We bought these to use for Christmas throughout the house for all of the gadgets needs recharging. They are good value and has ample spacing for those large power plugs you have to use from time to time. Not bulky.

This was perfect for my classroom desk setup this year. I rotated my desk so I could better see my room, but the way my tech was then positioned, I needed a long extension cord since my district apparently only had baby length cables for my computer stuff. I really love that it has the twirly socket protectors - I'm an art teacher and there is clay dust permanently settling on everything in my room, so it was nice to be able to twirl the outlet shut and know there wouldn't be crud building up within. Very helpful in corralling all my dang cables. Pro tip - add a bit of masking tape, colorful if you can, to each cord just above where it plugs in, and label it to remember what's what - this is also helpful in keeping my aging parents' TV cables labeled as well. This is a great surge protector.

It is a pretty average power strip with basic surge protection. 3 sets of MOVs, all with thermal fuse, for L-N, L-G and N-G. The Voltage Protection Rating is a 500v. There's also a capacitor for EMI filtering. The protector is made in Vietnam. It has no UL certification but it is ETL certified to same standard as UL. Of course, if you want to have proper surge protection - you must also have a whole house surge protector installed in your distribution panel, this power strip is just a "second layer" for minor surges that whole house surge protector may let through. This will absolutely not protect against major surges and especially against nearby lightning strikes.

The 10-foot long cord makes it incredibly easy to bring a safe, grounded power strip right next to a desk or entertainment center from a distant outlet. Having six outlets gives you plenty of room to plug in multiple electronic devices, and the built-in surge protection adds serious peace of mind. The integrated power switch has a solid, positive snap to it and lets you cut power to the whole setup instantly.

Purchased this to use in the basement for the deep freezer and dehumidifier. The outlet for the area is in the floor joist, so needed a surge protector with a cord longer than the average 6'. This one does the job perfect. The twist plugs are a nice safety feature also.

The cord is nice a long. No problems plugging into the surge protector and no problems with connecting the surge protector to the outlet. I will buy another one soon for my work laptop and accessories.

I got this for my outdoor TV entertainment setup, I love the length, it’s just right! The added circuit breaker is great for safety, one thing I also noticed is the sockets are closed if nothing is plugged in, this avoids things like water from getting in. It’s worth the money if you need something powered up outdoors or in the garage.
