Early days still, but these cables (pair) have breathed new life into my old Surface 3. The battery lasts 10 minutes, and replacing it costs more than I am willing to spend, but having USB-C charging cables in the places I want to use it around the house is a game-changer. The cabes do what they say, nothing more or less. Yes, the connector is easy to pull out of the socket, that's Microsoft's fault. Live with it. This decade-old convertible puts my latest-generation iPad to shame, with real apps on a real computer. And thanks to convenient charging in all my favorite places, Surfy (just made that up) is back in business!

Worked fine for 39 days till it did not. Light now stays on even when not pluged into SP-7. Will not charge at all. Have another cord and it works fine. Just past the 30 days so I cant return it. EDIT: COMPANY WENT FAR AND ABOVE FOR SERVICE ON THIS ITEM. THEY DID NOT ASK ME TO CHANGE THIS REVIED. NOW 100% HAPPY

Great! It works well with my computer and I really like that the cord is braided.

Works great with a Anker 67watt charger for my surface tablet!! actually seems to charge faster than the old bulky brick charger it came with.

- and many others don't, so I was pleased just to get cables that actually work. If you've owned Surface tablets for a while, then you know that they are super-fussy about the power that they get. They're like a house cat - sometimes they just won't take what they're given, for no apparent reason. I've tried more than one power supply or cable that just didn't work for one or more of my Surfaces. I'm please to report that these cables do work. These are great for a couple reasons. First, I like using USB-C PDs to power my stuff, but the older Surfaces (which I own) don't take a USB-C input - they only use their proprietary input connection (Microsoft must be enamored with this connection - I am decidedly not). Next, these cables have braided sheaths, which last longer than plastic-sheathed. These USB-C cables also eliminate the dramatically-oversized power supply that are typically used to power the Surfaces. Mind you, those power supplies are not necessary over-powered, just oversized. Lastly, Surface power cables tend to destroy themselves. Either the cable breaks where it goes into the proprietary connector (none of these cables believe in having strain-relief boots), or the proprietary connector splits apart. There's just too many forces on these cables that haven't been accounted for. So, having an extra cable on hand is never a bad idea. All that adds up to me liking this two-pack of cables. Highly recommended.

This charger does not work. It constantly switches from charging to not charging. Ends up just draining the battery faster. Garbage.

These work as advertised. Both of my usb ports are broken on my surface and if not fot this cord (4th try at one that would constantly work) I would have been in trouble. One of the few that put out a significant amount of power that is in the original form factor.

No sure if it was the computer or the cords either way it didnt help me.
