Single Top Keyboard and Mouse Riser, 30" Black Top

If you are like me and want to occasionally stand up when working at the computer at your desk, then I highly recommend this. The material is quality. The surface is very smooth. It’s possible that some might find it to be too smooth. Every once in a while, I will accidentally bump my mouse and it will slide off quite easily. It’s a nice surface for moving the mouse about. What will surprise you is how sturdy the mechanism is that moves it up and down. It does not feel cheap and it is a very important part of this device. There’s quite a bit of power in the mechanism the raises and lowers it, and it requires a bit of downward resistance to keep it from popping up like a toaster. Make sure that you firmly push it down when you want it at the bottom. Listen for a clicking sound and feel the little latch at the bottom right pop out slightly. When that happens, you know it is secure at its very bottom setting. The first time I pushed it down I was not aware of that and had not pushed quite firmly enough to hear the click and feel the latch pop. The result was that it sprung back up mightily! I did not have a keyboard or a mouse on it at the time. Even if your keyboard is slightly larger than some, there’s plenty of space for it and then some. Also, there’s more than enough room for the mouse to move about. Because of the scissoring mechanism underneath that operates the board, be careful about keeping your own fingers or a child’s fingers out from underneath it when you are raising or lowering it. If you are particularly tall, it’s hard to know if it will raise high enough to accommodate your arm positions. I’m a little under 5’10” and at its highest it would be too high for me. Still, I’m not sure it would be high enough for someone well over 6 feet tall.

I’m very happy with this purchase. It moves up and down smoothly. The size is perfect for a full size keyboard and mouse. I recommend!

Love it. I needed something to sit on my desk, that would allow me to stand when needed, but didn't want anything too bulky. I have an ergonomic keyboard with a curved shape; it's large enough; having plenty of room for the keyboard and the mouse. It's easy to adjust the height, it's sturdy, and I didn't have to put anything together. Worth it!

Overall the item is as described and functions as expected. I have limited desk space so I ordered the smaller size and find that it is not quite large enough for my mouse once I have a keyboard on it. That's my problem though, not a fault of the riser. It moves smoothly, quietly, and is stable. The release lever to raise and lower the riser is plastic but works well so far. My complaints are not specific to THIS brand, but are something to think about if you have not used one before. When all the way down to the lowest setting, it is still over an inch and half high. This makes it tough to use the keyboard normally when you want to sit down. I took one star because I personally feel these are overpriced for what they are. They are very simple items, almost like a miniature ironing board. If these had a USB hub, or LED light, or was a powered raising/lowering feature, that would make the price reasonable but until there is more competition, this is a decent, no-frills option to stand up at your standard height desk.

this is a great thing for your buck. Even when it’s down, it’s visually appealing. It’s heavyweight, but you know that it’s made of pretty good material and it’s very stable. My desk at home isn’t the biggest so a traditional standing desk would not work well for me, but this works great. If I ever wanted to stand up at my desk, I can just move my keyboard up.

I bought this because I have a sore back and need to stand when checking emails and doing the bills in the laptop. I didn’t want anything too large, this fits a 17” laptop and a mouse pad perfectly. If you want deeper for a keyboard a monitor or, want space to write, this will be too small. But if you use it just for the computer as a smaller workstation it’s perfect. Quality is great it is super easy to raise and lower. Also very sturdy I am not worried about it tipping or collapsing. The latch is also very easy to use and sturdy as well. This is a solid piece! Not too heavy or bulky so you can move it from room to room if needed

Sturdy and compact for limited desk space. Pricey but made exceptionally well. Recommend.

Lo tengo varios meses y va muy bien, aguanta bien el peso y no se tambalea nada. La única pega es que en una de las alturas no tiene tope y se baja si te apoyas mucho.

Produit pratique (facile d'utilisation), peu encombrant une fois plié, polyvalent (clavier / souris, ou ordinateur portable) esthétique et de bonne qualité. Rien à redire.

I wanted to occassionally take a stand-up break while working through the day, and this small laptop riser does the job. I purposely picked a smaller table-top because my home office setup has multiple monitors, but I only want to raise the laptop when I take these stand-up breaks. The up and down motion is smooth, the riser is very sturdy and it doesn't rattle or move even when i put my arms on the table-top. The only note is this riser, though it is small, is NOT light. So this is not a mobile table-raiser that you can carry around.

Ich suchte eine Möglichkeit, meinen Schreibtisch zu erhöhen, damit ich auch im stehen arbeiten kann. Meine Wahl fiel auf dieses Produkt, da mir die Maße 76 cm x 30 cm perfekt erschienen. Nun, nach nur 2 Tagen, bin ich mit dieser Auswahl sehr zufrieden! Die Mechanik zum erhöhen der Arbeitsfläche funktioniert sehr einfach und gut. Der gesamte Tisch steht sehr stabil und "wandert" um keinen Millimeter auf dem Schreibtisch dank der kräftig ausgelegten Scherentechnik! Alles sehr stabil ausgeführt und auch gänzlich ohne zu irgendwie wackeln. Etwas mehr Geld einzusetzen lohnt sich im Vergleich zu güntigeren Lösungen. Diese Produkt kann ich ohne Einschränkungen sehr empfehlen!!
