I LOVE Edifier gear....until these. The sad part is they sound amazing. They also look great. But unless you are 15 years old or less they won't fit. Literally for children. Zero adjustment to make them fit. At least my 9 year old daughter can use them. SUPER disappointed

These are different than in ear earbuds. They don’t go into your ear and provide noise isolation as you would with those. These have little speakers that sit just in front of your ear. I was skeptical of the sound quality since they do not go in ear, but surprisingly, it was pretty good. I would equate these to sort of open back headphones. So who are these for? Well if you are walking outside and want to listen to music but still want to hear the world around you these are for you. And I don’t mean that in a negative way, this is the specific design point. You can have a conversation, hear cars etc. while listening to music. So I do have Sony Noise Cancelling buds that will also have a pass through. However when it is windy or sometimes just walking I hear that sound in my ear mixed with the music. You won’t get that with these since you ears are open anyway. So comfort wise, they are average. The plastic band is pretty thing that goes around your ears so I did feel that over time around my ear. However we are all made different. I tested these on two devices. An iPhone and Nintendo Switch. It connected to each other(on at a time, not both together) and worked as you would expect. On iPhone I had it in music mode and on Switch game mode. These won’t work on PS5 as the Edifier Air 2 only supports bluetooth and the PS5 does not support bluetooth headsets. Hecate is Edifier’s gaming brand so aimed to that demographic. I’m looking forward to what Edifier will bring to the table in gaming as well as their other audio products. In the end, if you need an open back ear bud like design to hear the world (most likely at the gym or for safety when walking or biking outside) or just to be able to hear your game/music while being able to chat with you significant other, these would be the way to go. Edit 10/14/2024: I've been using these outside a lot and since they are open back, I don't hear the thumping of each step in my ear like earbuds and also I can hear traffic which is a huge plus. I increased a star and realized just how good they sound being open back.

Tratar de entenderlos es demasiado complicado y casi imposible

I’ve never worn earphones or earbuds before just the larger headphones because my ears make a lot of wax, so I’m not a fan of anything sitting inside my ears. These Ear Buds caught my eye because they just sit on the ear, which sounded perfect for me. Overall, they’re fine but not spectacular. They aren’t the most comfortable, but they’re not the worst either. I would have preferred a softer ear loop, and it would’ve been nice if the loops were bigger or adjustable—they’re a bit stiff as they are but they do stay on and I don't feel like they'll fall off. These earbuds are supposed to be gaming-centric, with RGB lighting on the case and the buds themselves. The lights are cool, but honestly, they don’t add much for me. There is a game mode you can activate by tapping the earbud three times, and I did notice a difference in latency when playing games on my phone. I mostly play things like Golf Blitz or Words with Friends, and with game mode on, there was definitely less delay compared to music mode. As for range, I had my phone on my desk (Galaxy S20 FE 5G) So BT 5.0 only and I could walk outside to my shed before the signal started to drop. With only Bluetooth 5.0 I couldn’t fully test the range that Bluetooth 5.3 supposedly offers, but the connection was solid for the few hundred feet out to my shed. The overall sound is on the softer/colder side, so if you’re after something like a heavy bass or whatever, these might not be for you. But they do pretty well for spoken word, like watching TV shows or sports. On phone calls, I could hear fine through the headphones, but the person on the other end had trouble hearing me unless I was right next to my phone, I think most people will have there phone on them so probably not a big deal. The touch controls can be hit or miss—you have to tap in just the right spot, which can be annoying but once you find the spot it for the most part is ok but sometimes when you try to tap it three times to say switch modes it mistakes it for two taps. They come with a nice case, and the buds fit in well albeit uncomfortably , plus you get a few options for the RGB lighting, though that’s not something I care about personally. It does come with a USB-C cable, but it’s pretty short. Overall, these earbuds are okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
