Review: These can work on makita batteries - I saw a review of this vac, claiming it can use the Makita batteries. I can confirm, they do work. This vacuum will NOT pick up fine dust. I use this for my construction sites. It will pick up chunks of wood scraps, water bottles, larger items. It won't do the sawdust very well. Probably 90% of the dust makes it into the bin. But I love it. Cleaning large areas behind some trades, dropping wire nuts, picking up zip ties and plastic bags. Grabbing it for some scraps of drywall cut outs for outlets, sprinklers, and other smaller pieces. It does a good job. Id compare this to the Ryobi Devour sweeper. Review: Makes quick work of larger debris - This battery powered sweeper makes quick work of larger pieces of debris. It can sweep up leaves and paper, plus other light to medium weight items. The sweeper struggles with small flat objects that are dense, like a penny on the ground, for example. The sweeper is powered by the standard 18 Volt Makita battery packs, and those are readily available since many tools use them. It's a good device, and it is easy to clean too when you are done using it. Makes sweeping quick and easy.

Needs Beefing up.
3/5 Cause it is really the only thing like it on the market at a reasonable price. Bought this hoping it would be as good or better than the Ryobi Devour Sweeper. Unboxed, and noticed the connection points and clasp where the catch basin connects to the powerhead are likely going to break very easily. My ryobi devour can be thrown in the back of the truck and not worry about it breaking, This thing looks like it will not survive unless i handle it very delicately. Beef this thing up and charge me $100 more and i will buy a dozen of them. As it is, we'll see if it will last. I has able to buy a "18V Ryobi battery to Makita adapter" and use my ryobi batteries, so that is a plus. If they redesign to be like the Ryobi Devour Sweeper and then they would have the whole market as they have discontinued their sweeper.

Leaves STREAKS of dirt right down the middle between the two brushes all day.
Leaves STREAKS of dirt right down the middle between the two brushes. What's the purpose of making a sweeper that leaves dirt/debris ? See pics. This is just two pics leaves a constant streak all day.

Just beyond the trouble of returning it.
It's just barely good enough to not return.. Barely. It needs a vacuum and a leaf grinder. It fills up very fast with large leaves and the bin is not nearly large enough.

Great for my commissary kitchen
This battery-powered push sweeper has made cleaning so much easier! The double brush system picks up dust, leaves, and debris effortlessly, saving me time and effort compared to a regular broom. The 18V lithium-ion battery provides plenty of power for extended use, and I love the cordless convenience. Itโs lightweight, easy to maneuver, and perfect for driveways, patios, and garages. If you want a hassle-free way to keep outdoor spaces tidy, this is a great investment!
