I got these to prepare for a big blizzard that was hitting the east coast a couple months ago and I’m so glad that I did! These warm up FAST and I appreciate having 3 setting to choose from. I usually went with the middle one which I was pleased with, meaning in other occasions when necessary I can use a lower or higher setting. I would’ve been disappointed if I needed to go all the way to max setting to get the warmth I was looking for. I wish it heated up on both sides though. Not really a dealbreaker for me but keep in mind it’s one sided and the side that heats up is not the entire surface. It’s a square sized area that takes up maybe about 70-80% of the surface. Still, for the price, I consider this a steal and a great product!!! Oh and it charges super fast! Don’t last that long but recharging it doesn’t take long at all!

I first bought a set for myself because my hands are always cold when I first wake up for the day. After a family member saw the convenience and long battery life of my set, they asked for a set of their own to take on an upcoming trip visiting family abroad. The portability and convenience appealed to multiple extended family members, so I ordered 2 more sets. These have been a real hit, and the affordable price makes them a great gift option. I opted to stay with the Hotdot brand for all 4 pairs for many reasons: - Size & feel, ideal for holding in your hand or slipping inside a glove, not too thick, rounded for comfort without sharp edges, included wrist straps ensures device won't drop (regain full hand use quickly & safely) - Display screen, quickly & easily tells me the temperature setting and battery life remaining - Easy single button interface, hold for on/off, single click to cycle through set temperature (triple click switches between C/F units, double click toggles AI mode, haven't used since initial setup) - Warm quickly, the devices take mere seconds to warm up to the selected temperature, but be aware that it doesn't remember your last heat setting and defaults to the highest temp (on my units at least, YMMV) so you need to select your temp each power on. - Decent battery life, 8+ hours on second heat setting, charges fully in a couple hours, included USB-A to dual USB-C cables allows charging both warmers using 1 USB-A port. We mostly use the second heat setting of 45°C, as 50+ is too warm for comfortable direct skin contact (may be useful if a layer of material is between the warmer device and skin).

Very beneficial, heating speed usually takes 30 seconds to 1 minute and a half depending on how hot you want, i would say they are worth 15$ of value, overall 5 stars

Here is the thing, these HEAT UP. They will very quickly get warm and do their job. However, if you choose the hottest setting, the batteries will drain FAST. You need to use it strategically if you plan on using them for a while. To be honest, the one time use hand warmers that you shake and shove in your pockets last longer and get quite warm too. If you want something reusable and that does not produce trash, then, these make sense. You can store them in the summer and charge them in the winter. If you do not care, grab those hot hand sachets instead and you will be better off in a long cold day.

This is a great gift idea for parents who watch sports from the sidelines. Everyone I got these for loves them!

These heat up very fast, I prefer the 131degree setting as my hands hurt due to my RA in the cold months. After using them I see I’m going to use them year round, it’s like a heating pad for my hands and helps me with my rheumatoid arthritis flareups so much. I’ve tried many of these before since we were young because we go camping and they’re usually bulky take forever to charge and don’t work well. These are thin fit perfectly in any size of pocket. They’re easy to turn on and off by the click of a button. You don’t even have to pull it out of your pocket to do so I charge them at night while I sleep and they’re ready for me in the morning for my morning runs. I got some for my son for his walk to school and he loves them as well. His hands tend to get cold during the day at school and this helps him with that also he said. Im giving these as a gift to everyone as many can use these all year round. We’ve only used them a couple of times since we just received them but if anything changes I will come back to update.

The warmers do heat up quick. I find that they work better when wearing mittens. I can put them all the way to the tip of the mittens and rest my fingers on the warming pad, keeping them nice and toasty. That allows me to get a better grip on my walking stick. I tried putting them in the zipper pouch on top of my gloves, but that did not seem to be very effective, hence, the mitten solution. The issue I find is that after an hour walk, one of the warmers has discharged 20 to 40% faster than the other one. I am thinking that the one discharging quicker is possibly old or defective? I start out with both of them charged up to 100% and use the same temperature setting on both. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this problem. Update to this review. I now give 5 stars because of the service to correct this issue. The manufacture has reached out to me after seeing my review. They have agreed to replace the handwarmer that was discharging up to 40 % more than the other one.
