I bought this small camera mainly to monitor a room and I was surprised by how compact it is. The size makes it easy to place almost anywhere without being very noticeable. The video quality is clear in 1080P and it does a good job detecting motion. Setup was fairly simple and once it was running it worked as expected. It’s a good option if you need a small camera for basic monitoring. For the price, the performance and size make it a practical choice.

Followed the "instructions" (read: gibberish) as best I could. It creates a zero-bytes .avi file every time it records, which naturally can't be played on anything. For others complaining that there's no sound and it doesn't work at night ... READ THE SPECS! Both of those are clearly spelled out in the listing.

I used this to monitor the kids at night when I fall asleep and they tell me that they are ‘really’ sleeping. It was extremely easy to plug in and setup, and if you use an extension cord, it can be placed anywhere. The camera came with all the necessary cable and adapter to connect to you computer, the camera picture is not bad for being so tiny and hidden. Even though it says no sound, it does record sound so that was a plus! It worked just as it should and the price was good for what it does. Now I know my kids aren’t asleep and playing on their tablets when they’re not suppose to be!

I was going for 2 weeks vacation and put 128gb card (max allowed) in this camera. Of course, the loop recording was not acceptable in my case, I set the motion activated mode. What I see now? The camera recorded 163 files continuously (5 mins long and 708Mb in size each file ) and it stopped recording because run out of memory! Total length of recording is about 16 hours, it is less then one day regardless of any motion. Only one file includes actual motion, when my neighbor came in to check out my house. The motion detection trigger has no effect for sure. Sorry for confusion with date and time. I did not realize how to set up initial time. I edited with notepad the file "timerset", but it was over written by camera with factory defaults.

Finding a player to support the videos is a little a pain. The video quality is low but not horrible. I brought this for work as someone is stealing and want to catch that person

Works great. Listing say no audio but it actually records audio surprisingly well. Only issue was that when I changed the date in the config file on the SD card, it didn’t save no matter how times I did it.
