Worked well and the seller is great at helping identify mold! I sent them an email with my photos and they broke it down for me. I swabbed some window frames and also sampled still air in some rooms.

I highly recommend, it’s expensive for what they are, but they are a good quality. I recently used six of them to test various areas of my home. I uploaded the pictures to ChatGPT who identified the strains and how to remediate any issues. -I wasn’t surprised about my second closet, there was a water incursion last year, and I thought I had dried it out before I loaded everything back in. -The closet was in the bedroom and the plate right beside my bed was clean which points to my HEPA filter in the bedroom working very well. -Shocked that my bathroom is pretty good and -not surprised that my living room and dining room are pretty much the exact same because they are adjacent to each other.

The kit does the job. The book provided is very poor. It gives small pictures, that are hard to discern color, but doesn't really describe what you're looking at (eg this is a grey fuzzy mold with a white ring around the outside), it just tells you about the type of mold and where it's found, etc. Descriptions would be far better. Apparently you can email them for help to identify so maybe I'll try. I just wish the book was better.

Ordered this item a while ago and saved it for whenever we would buy a home. Finally got to use it. Got annoyed because the result of test, from online opinions wasn't considered like a true laboratory scan... I made a specialist come by, he did laboratory testing. Which is, well good, cus now I got cerification with all the informations on it and yes, it cost more and I got full result and all but. This test had the same information on which type of mold was in my home. Even better, these tests gave me all the molds name. Whereas the laboratory gave me the ratio in the air but also had a line saying "unidentified mold" 33%. Like. What!? How can a lab put unidentified mold on a report... This is ridiculous. I get there are millions of kind of molds, but shouldn't a lab know more!? Anyway, all to say, if you don't need to know how much ratio of mold is in your home. Buy this kit. It will be the same. You don't need the papers. (You can guess the amount by how long it takes to develop, mine took like around 1 to 2 weeks to develop due to weather and due to the levels of it being so low ) - the certification said that I had good air quality overall, minor spots to look at that we knew of, but that was it. If you want certification, don't buy it because you will pay this and then still need to pay for the person that comes run the tests anyways.
