Of 4 other timers, this is my favorite. Easy to program, see, and loud enough for exercise routines.
This timer is easy to set up times for pomodoro studying, exercise reps, and cooking. I can put it in my pocket and take it with me when I need it. The LCD is very viewable in the daytime. It is not backlit. The battery has lasted for months a going strong. Very happy with it. I only wish that it were a little thinner. A thin timer that I have has an alarm that is way too soft. This one is fine for my uses.

Display Not Reliable
It worked fine for just about 4 weeks (just beyond the return window) but then the display started going blank (alarm would still work) even with new batteries

Ring a ding - ding!
This product works very well for our family. We use it for cooking, but also for a shower timer because my kids still don’t seem to comprehend that water costs money. :P The only suggestion I would make…a little bit bigger of magnet(s), or maybe one more small one, would have been great. It likes to boogie down our freezer door as it gets opened and closed. The stand function & timer work great - Good value - easy to use once you press all the buttons and figure out what does this/that.

Great for all
I use this timer for coaching calls. I like the large display so I can keep an easy eye on the timer. It’s also very easy to set, which is great for when I have to adjust the timer quickly.

Great sound, bad display
Loved the simplicity of this but it’s not usable for my purposes. I didn’t want to use the sound but the display isn’t a bright white on black like all the pictures. At most angles I can’t see the time at all so I have to use the sound which doesn’t work in quiet settings.
