Reuniting the director, writer and stars of Forrest Gump, Here is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. Tom Hanks and Robin Wright star in a tale of love, loss, laughter, and life, all of which happen right Here. Review: A great movie ... to watch more than just 1 time. - I found this movie very good. The way it was presented was complletely new and refreshing - very unique. It took me about 10 minutes to realize that the technique they started with was to follow all the way through the movie. At the time of this review, IMDB had a rating of 6.3 - I would have given it a rating of something closer to 8.0. If you watched it only once and thought it was a "6", watch it again and pay attention to the location (over time) and the families that lived on that location and in that house. I have watched it three times and I noticed more on the reruns. Review: Watch the making of the movie on the DVD - Another great movie with Tom Hanks. Some AI was used to depict actors when they were young. Well done.

Watch the making of the movie on the DVD
Another great movie with Tom Hanks. Some AI was used to depict actors when they were young. Well done.

Carrousel of Progress
Back at the New York World's Fair of 1964 Walt Disney introduced a show that followed generations of families that lived in a single typical home through nearly a century of technological change. The emphasis of the attraction was on how that technology changing lives. It was presented using a revolutionary theatrical concept called Audioanimatronics. The show is still running today 60 years later at Walt Disney World. Something is very compelling about watching a single space transform and the hopes and dreams of those living within evolve with the passage of time. Robert Zemeckis has fashioned an emotionally deeper cinematic home that marries Walt Disney's Carrousel show with Richard McGuire's graphic novel. The result is infinitely rewatchable and not to be missed. Obviously the structure of the film is hard for some reviewers to deal with but if you have been charmed by the technical magic and story charm of the long running Disney attraction, then it's likely you will be captivated by Zemeckis's magical update. I have watched it multiple times and find new visual surprises at every viewing.

Skip this movie, not a worthy to watch
I find this Tom Hank’s movie is hard to follow the story. It starts from pre-historic to pre-war- to current situation yrs of the “same house”. The camera is 95% focusing on the same house with different household family.

COMPUTER GRAPHICS
Robin Wright and Tom Hanks provide great acting. Similar to the Tom Hanks film "Polar Express"--special effects allow these actors to appear as they were in their twenties . Audiences ( who are in their twenties and thirties) are not going to see a film about aging and memory loss. I did not like scenes of previous owners of the Pennsylvania home. But overall this is a good film.

NOT what I'd call a good movie
I could not stand to watch the entire movie. It was that bad - confusing & unsettling. The (commercial) reviews that led me to purchase it claimed it was superb. I beg to differ. But then I'm not trying to sell it. 🤔

I hope the one gets an Oscar not this year.
Quite a unique movie. Single shot camera placement throughout the movie (till the very last scene), multifaceted story line, and superb characters makes this a great movie (for some, not all).

Could've been a really good movie
If they had presented the stories in chronological order it would have been really good. As it is, it's confusing.
