Disappointing
I bought this to solve a simple problem: the water connection on my camper requires a sharp bend, and I wanted this adapter to relieve the strain on the hose. Unfortunately, it created a bigger problem than it solved. With fresh hose washers installed on both ends, it leaked at both connections. I tightened it by hand, then a little more, but no reasonable amount of tightening would stop the leaks. At that point, the adapter was the problem, not the installation. Connecting a garden hose isn't exactly advanced engineering. It should seal with a washer and a snug fit. This one didn't. I ended up removing it and going back to my original setup, which remains a pain to connect but doesn't leak.

I use them as strainer reliefs at my hose bib...works well. Now my expanding hose doesn't get kinked going around a corner...
