Great keyboard and mouse set
I've had this set for almost 3 years now having replaced this after the one i got from my work broke. I love it and find it has the perfect size, battery life and comfort level. The mouse is perfect for me and has the perfect curvature for my hand, which is medium size with long fingers. I have difficulty finding a mouse that suits my hand but this is perfect. Battery life is ok keeping in mind it doesn't turn off due to inactivity and i almost never turn it off unless travelling. I change the battery every 4 months or so. It also has a usb space on the bottom which is perfect for travelling. The keyboard doesn't make much noise when typing but there is a sound. I find it very comfortable to use and have good reach. It doesn't have any fancy buttons but everything you would need for most things is in easy reach. I don't think I've ever changed its batteries. I've seen the other reviews but my experience has been nothing but great.

Excellent quality feel and battery life.
I have purchased a number of these for work and they work well and have a really good battery life, rarely do I get any complaints when people use the Microsoft keyboards and so I tend to stick with them. No issues with any, the only problem you may encounter over time is the text on the keys can disappear but I often find this is related to long fingernails rather than normal daily use. Well worst the cost and I would recommend these and will continue to buy them.

Great quality, but with a couple of minor niggles
I tried 3 other wireless keyboards in the run-up to this one, and this is the only one that didn't have any sticky keys, or that had a lag between typing and showing the text on screen. It works well and is a great option for quick typists, designers and coders. 4 starts instead of 5: It is also the only wireless keyboard I tried that didn't have a built-in space for storing the USB receiver, and it also does not have a on/off switch so battery power could be affected although I am yet to test this. Summary: * All keys work well, even when typing at a speed of over 90 words/minute * The communication between the keyboard and screen is very good. There are no delays between typing and it showing on screen * This keyboard has a separate USB receiver (like most wireless keyboards), but no built-in storage for it, so you risk losing it easily * There is no on/off switch, so if you leave the receiver in the laptop you run the risk of the batteries being used if your laptop is closed (but not switched off). * It is full sized. This is a pro, because it's like using a normal keyboard, but also a con as it is not easily stored away or easy to travel with.

Works well, dollar key can be used to make £ symbol using ‘shift’
Item is slick and works well, way better than wired devices for a tidy desk. Price feels steep but my last Microsoft one lasted best part of a decade so can’t complain if this turns out to be the case. I was confused that the ‘English Euro’ keyboard layout comes with a dollar sign on the numerals rather than £ or € signs and noticed other reviewers remarking on the same issue. When I asked about this the seller was very responsive and explained how to get pound and euro symbols using the shift or alt keys, so all good. Here’s what they said if you need the same info: “The “English-Euro” layout often resembles the US layout physically, showing a dollar sign ($) above the number 4, while still allowing you to type the pound (£) and euro (€) symbols through the operating system’s keyboard settings. If you press “Shift + 3” and get “£” or use “AltGr + 4” for “€” then the keyboard is functioning as the English-Euro layout”

Nice key action
Bought as a replacement for the same. After 3 years of use working from home some of the letters had worn off the keys and I think carrying the laptop with it still plugged in led to me snapping the receiver, my fault! But I just love the key action and the solid build quality so had no hesitation in buying again.

No more cables !!
My new PC kept freezing with the existing usb mouse and keyboard so I tried this, more in desperation than anything else. Not only did it completely resolve the problem but now that I've gone "wireless" I can't see me ever going back to cabled peripherals. The set up only takes seconds and Windows 10 recognized the wireless adapter instantly so I was up and running in less than a minute. The mouse is delightfully smooth in everyone of its functions and although the keyboard is a bit dated and clunky it's identical to my work's keyboard so every button is exactly where I expect it to be. Add all this to a very low price and superfast delivery and it amounts to yet another great Amazon shopping experience.

Mouse scroll wheel DPI setting keeps resetting itself
I bought this as a set to upgrade my previous Microsoft wired keyboard and mouse. I use my keyboard and mouse with a StarTech KVM switch to control a number of computers. The keyboard and the mouse seem to work mostly fine, except that the mouse has one problem which resulted in me having to replace it with another wireless mouse, so I now use the Microsoft wireless keyboard only. Neither the Microsoft wired mouse nor any of the other wireless mice I tried suffered from the same problem as the Microsoft 1000 wireless mouse which is included in this wireless keyboard + mouse bundle. Namely the wireless mouse's scroll wheel appears to have several sensitivity (DPI) settings, and that it keeps spontaneously changing its setting to a level which is far too sensitive - i.e. one click on the scroll wheel will scroll several pages up or down at a time - and is completely useless. Unplugging and re-plugging the wireless receiver sometimes seems to clear this problem (not always), but then the setting soon resets itself to become too sensitive again. I don't know whether this is an issue between the mouse and the KVM switch, or whether the issue is related to me changing between different computers on the KVM switch, or whether it's something to do with the Linux drivers for this mouse (I only observe the problem on Linux). However, as I said, I do not experience the same problem with any other wireless mouse I've tried - using the same KVM switch in the same way, and on the same Linux computer. BTW when choosing a replacement, I found the Logitech M220 wireless mouse to be my favourite. And works much better.

... form factor and battery life it gets is the best of any mouse
The mouse alone is why I bought this set up - the form factor and battery life it gets is the best of any mouse. I literally buy these now for the mouse and throw the keyboard away. If only they did a bluetooth version in the same form factor. The keyboard (when I have used it) was very good also. A bit too much travel for me now that I am used to Apple keyboards, but as keyboards go it's top quality.
