Tiny form factor with tons of functionality.
Easy to flash with various firmware. Packs a lot of functionality into a compact form factor. The plastic case is built strong, and though I don't love that the battery kinda rattles a bit, this hasn't given me any issues so far. Cheaper than a flipper and has more built in functionality (at least, with the right firmware). Good for pentesters. There are plenty of videos on YouTube showing how to modify this with better antennas, etc. I will eventually get around to doing this. Nonetheless, even unmodified it works great.

Better than flipper, if u know script. If u don't understand, don't buy
Ok.. this is literally my very first esp32 , arduino, anything. I was curious on iot security. Its one of my things, security, to keep things, people safe. And tools and knowledgeis required. . And had no clue what I was getting myself into. It has same capability as flipper zero, but... and a big BUT, u need to set the conditions ie, u need to know python code. Or arduino. or know enough to copy paste ardueno script in github . I assumed, buy it. Install firmware, and thats all.... ohhhhhh no... no.. no . I was so nieve. All that, beeing said. If ur intelligent enough to figure some of this stuff out, ull be ok.... if u don't understand iot, micropython, or arduino, just buy a flipper zero. Im 47 have a windows computer running vista, dont know diddly squat about computers,. I get the idea now. Took me a bit.. but I grasp this concept now.. I try to learn something new every day. U should too.. don't be D I C K.. help people. Don't take what's not yours. Or pay the consequences

Works well with Bruce software.
I installed Bruce software and find that it works very well. My only issue is that the battery life is short .It needs recharging often.

Whoever Sent That Packet — It Wasn’t Human
At 1:23 a.m. I powered on the T-Embed CC1101. Just to test something. Just for a minute. The screen flickered. RSSI readings crawled in like dripping ink. The keypad clicked louder than it should have. I scanned for signals. Heard one. Another. Then… a packet from ID FNULL. Not my devices. Not my neighbors. Not anything I’ve ever configured. The T-Embed displayed: SIGNAL FOUND. LISTENING… I whispered, “Who’s there?” The serial log returned: …HELLO… I shut it down. It powered back on. Alone. Unaided. Braver than I’ll ever be. Still 5 stars. Works great.

My first Lilygo device
A little late on the review, but only recently opened and concluded with it. It came faulty. Battery stuck over the BIOS button, randomly won't turn on, can't flash additional firmware, the micro SD card slot is bumped in back way too far, so not getting my card back. Should have opened it and toyed with it immediately, would have saved 60 bucks. But anyway, my purchase wasn't pleasant.

Purely Awesome
This little guy is super impressive and intuitive right out of the box, it came with Bruce installed which was a nice bonus. There are plenty of tutorials on this device out there, just do some digging. The cc1101 is really capable, and I haven’t experienced any problems with it so far at all. If you were considering buying a flipper, look no further. It seems the only thing this device is missing out on is nfc/rfid emulation, which is not matter anyway if you have some tags on hand because it can read and write. It gets the pass from me.

The cheaper alternative to the “dolphin” tool, but far from perfect
There’s so much you can do with this device, including adding third-party from where such as the Bruce firmware has a handy grove port for adding external accessories. It does offer many of the features of the original Hechter tall named after a dolphin‘s body part which is no longer available on Amazon or eBay. Make a mistake – this is a great value for the money. The click wheel and selector button make navigating different firmware interfaces pretty easy. It is great that the back of the device is held on by rare earth magnets rather than screws… Especially because he will have to get inside, not in frequently. The main negatives of this device include the fact that there is no hard “power off“ switch so the device is always drawing power and is frequently dead when I go to use it. Sometimes I have to take the back cover off to do a hard reset using the buttons inside after connecting back to power to even get it to boot. While the device contains an ir diode, the output is so low that you are not going to be able to do much with it. While this device does have sub gigahertz transmission ability, the range is very limited. Unfortunately, modifying the device with external antennas, did not make much of a difference in my case, so I suspect that it is more related to the transmission circuitry
