Getting the Best Out of Al-Hajj (Pilgrimage)

I bought Abu Muneer Ismail Davids Ultimate Guide to Umrah which was very beneficial and had many advice about what to do, places to eat, places to ago as well as the fiqh side of Umrah. After my first time going to Umrah, I have got the taste for going Hajj which is why I purchased this book immediately, I knew it would valuable information and advice for the novice with photos and diagrams etc.

Every details of how to perform Hajj from planning to the actual Hajj. I really enjoyed reading it. I feel like I am already in Makkah, while reading, I highly recommend for anyone who is planning to go to Hajj! You can also find important tips that can save you time and make your stay effective.

I took it to Hajj this year 2022 and started reading it 2 months before. We had no guidance at Hajj and the book helped a lot but some bits are out of date and not applicable. People had flash cards on a lanyard and I think that was more useful because carrying a book is not easy. Maybe read it before Hajj and then carry some other form of guidance to Hajj itself.

Definitely a MUST HAVE BOOK. Everything you need to know about Hajj and Umrah and much more is all in here. I would recommend buying good few months before so you can study it properly. One of the best books out there for Hajj.

I would agree with other reviewers as well. This book is really detailed to a point, it also mentions which restaurants to eat chicken and why to avoid the juice!! I wasn't expecting this level of depth. While I haven't been there ( planning to 2015, I'A) yet to verify whether the food tips are helpful or not, I can definitely concur that this book is a must have for someone like me who doesn't have any idea of Hajj or Saudi Arabia and no local help.

Apart from the authentic way of performing the journey the author has included some very useful tips,advise and has described in detail every practical aspect of the spiritual journey I highly recommend this book for someone who likes to gain insight of what their journey will actually be like.

Its a long and detailed book about hujj. You can get information not only about the steps of hujj but the traveling, packing list, hotel information, food and other expected and unexpected things during that time.
