Bought this for my nephew and for myself since i enjoy marble runs and setting up more complex ones just to see if it works and my nephew just likes watching the marbles run so its the perfect toy for us to bond over. The pieces themselves are nice and sturdy even the tracks dont seem like they would bend or break easily tho they are plastic which i thought they would be metal given the name of the product but that wasnt the case unfortunately. They seem to have enhanced the image on the tracks to make them look metal on the packaging but then the actual product is like a hard plastic. As for the price i thought it was reasonable if the tracks were actually metal but since they are just plastic it feels like they are overvalued since you could probably 3D print majority of these pieces and even make your own which a bunch of people already do and sell on ebay. Honestly its a bit expensive for it being all plastic and cardboard, with the exception of the metal ball bearings and magnets used in some pieces. Overall a fun toy but a little pricey for what it’s made of, it should be like 30$ max but for 60$? Its not really worth it. You’re better off just going on ebay and getting yourself a used set and maybe a 3D printer that way you could make your own parts and save a ton in the long run if you want to have a large collection for longer runs.

I bought this as a gift for my 8 year old grandson several months ago. When visiting recently, I noticed that he had it out and had been playing with it. I asked him how he liked it, and he showed me what he does with it. He really does enjoy it. This is a good toy for children with a STEM oriented mind.

My 7 year old loves tinkering with this. 4 stars as the tracks are plastic (looked to be metal in pictures) so not sure how durable they will be in the long run.

Love this set! My kids spend hours creating tracks and playing with this. Durable and holds up well to little hands. I love how creative and thoughtful this allows kids to be.

I'm an adult and I need something to keep me awake on nights I'm not working... THIS does the trick. Expansion sets, here I come.

My 12 and 15 year olds love this set! They actually played without fighting for several hours. We are excited to get other sets and expansions. I'm glad I found something to keep them off screens for a while. I would not recommend for smaller children because the pieces do seem kind of fragile.

Das GraviTrax Starter-Set hat bei uns voll überzeugt. Der Einstieg war durch die Anleitungen einfach, sodass die Kinder direkt loslegen und erste Bahnen problemlos aufbauen konnten. Besonders schön ist, dass es nicht nur beim Nachbauen bleibt. Mittlerweile werden eigene Strecken gebaut und die Kreativität ist richtig geweckt. Man merkt schnell, wie viel Spaß das Experimentieren und Ausprobieren macht. Die Qualität ist, wie man es von Ravensburger kennt, sehr gut und die Teile halten auch bei häufiger Nutzung gut. Für Kinder, die gerne bauen, tüfteln und ausprobieren, eine klare Empfehlung. Wirklich ein tolles System mit viel Potenzial.

Visade sig bli det 6-åriga barnbarnets favoritjulklapp. Går att bygga om på många olika sätt. När han fyller år skall han få en som bygger mer vertikalt. Ser ut att kunna bli något kul att leka med i flera år framöver då det finns ännu mer avancerade varianter. Denna var dock lagom för 6-åringen. Tror inte man skall vara yngre än så för denna.
