Impressive capacity with some drawbacks. And a month-long delay for a missing cable.
I recently purchased the Pecron EP3800 expansion battery to go along with the F3000 LFP power station, but I haven't been able to use it yet since it didn't come with the correct cascade cable. Even worse, the correct cable is on back-order, so I won't even get it for about a month after I received the F3000 and expansion battery. It seems that these units are in extremely high demand and Pecron is struggling to keep up, which is a testament to the quality and value of these batteries. In addition, I also had a huge issue with the FedEx delivery (actually, the driver) which FedEx basically brushed off and ignored. The driver was angry that she had to wait longer than she wanted to for me to answer the door. By the time I answered, she was back in her van. When she saw me, she ANGRILY rolled her eyes, retrieved the package, and brought it back over. Then she literally DROPPED the nearly 80-pound package to the sidewalk at my feet. She even said "well next time maybe you should answer the door faster." It was crazy and unbelievable, and Fedex called it a "misunderstanding" and said the issue is now resolved and closed! Neither of these issues have anything to do with my review or rating of Pecron's products or service, but FedEx should definitely be ashamed of how they "dealt" with the driver and delivery issue. I wish Amazon would allow customers to choose delivery service, because if so, I'd never use Fedex again. Thankfully, Pecron packs these batteries in a double box with plenty of foam padding. In any case... on to my initial review. I am only able to discuss my initial impression of this expansion battery, since I won't be able to test it or even know if it works properly until the backordered cable finally arrives next month. There is no visible damage as a result of the Fedex driver dropping it to the ground, but I won't know if the unit functions until the cable arrives. It should be noted that the EP3800 battery is Pecron's replacement for the EP3000 expansion battery, and they have upgraded the capacity of the battery at the expense of some other features. The EP3800 has a capacity of 3840 Wh, while the older model had a capacity of 3072 Wh. A notable improvement! Out of the box, this is a very impressive (and heavy) battery. The price-per-watt-hour is unbeatable, because no other company offers this kind of capacity for under 20 cents per WH. I also have a bluetti solar generator and expansion battery, and those units were nearly double the cost, at about 40 cents per Wh, with far less battery capacity. In that regard, Pecron is unbeatable. I can only imagine that these units will perform impressively, but have to wait a month to find out. Pecron has turned this into a bare-bones battery, with the emphasis on capacity, rather than features. At 3840 WH, the capacity is amazing and unbeatable! The trade-off is, there are no built-in power ports of any kind, as there were on the older version. To me, this is not a bad thing, since the F3000LFP has an abundance of outlets and ports. I would rather have the added storage capacity than a few extra DC outlets any day! However... the biggest drawback that I can see is that you can only charge the expansion battery by connecting it to the main power tank. I would have liked to be able to charge it separately using solar panels, or even by grid power. Still... the added capacity is definitely preferable. Overall though, I am thoroughly impressed by the value and capacity of both the F3000 and the EP3800. Having nearly 7000 watt-hours of power for around 20 cents per watt-hour is an incredible deal. Lastly, I will also add that Pecron's customer support has been top-notch. I've had to contact them twice, and in both cases, I was not able to get anyone on the line on the first attempt. However... Pecron actually called ME back within a short period of time, even though I didn't leave a message or request a call-back. The agent stated that he saw my number on caller ID and was returning my call. Very impressive! They've also followed up both of my calls with emails within a short period of time, too. It is clear that Pecron values their customers and works to resolve any issues in a prompt manner. Other than the fact that a back-ordered cable is causing a month-long delay... I'm very impressed with Pecron thus far. I will update my review once the cascade cable finally arrives and I've had time to test the Pecron solar generator and expansion battery to assess the overall performance, and also compare them to the Bluetti generator that I have.

Works well
My uncle has basically become off grid with his Pecron E3600 and this extra battery! He charges them with solar panels and runs his tv, WiFi, bed, lights off the system! He loves it! Works very well, such a good value compared to other systems!

Great Standalone Battery
It is a great battery for the price. It doubles the run time for my Pecron F3000LP. I like the fact that it can be charged independently via solar panels and the usb and car ports gives access to the battery's power without an inverter or additional unit. This gives me the option of using it independent of the main unit.

NOT compatible with F3000LFP inverter without special cable that is out of stock/backordered.
I have a compatibility problem to warn other customers of. Another reviewer here mentioned the same problem. Despite the Pecron and Amazon web sites stating that the EP3800 battery is compatible with the F3000LFP inverter, they fail to mention that it requires a special adapter cascade cable that does not ship with either unit to connect them. The newer F series inverter uses an XT120 connector while the E series expansion battery uses an MJ32 connector. The special adapter cable is "Out of Stock" on the Pecron site. I am on a waiting list to get the required cable to connect the two units. Very upsetting because if there is a problem with the E series expansion battery, it might be too late for me to return it to Amazon for free. I'm still searching for a workaround.

Todo excelente.
Muy buena la batería pero lo que pienso qué debería traer el cable de conexión con la estación f3000lfp qué son solo 29.99 dólares.

Added Battery Capacity
So far all is good! The expansion battery doubled my energy capacity allowing me to run portable AC in my weekend cabin. I normally only need power for two days, these are working great for my needs. When initially connecting to main unit it took almost 2 hours to be recognized… main unit was at 80% charge while expansion read 75%. The length of time needed to sync was longer than I expected. When charging through solar it is taking longer to charge battery now, this is due to both batteries now being charged. I will need to monitor and recalculate my solar charging expectation.
