Consistency and patience pay off
This product absolutely works! I had one daughter with a wart on her finger. After about two weeks of using this product she was able to dig it out completely. My 5-year-old had a plantar wart. It took a solid two months of applications, and then tonight it completely fell out of her foot! My best advice is to apply this stuff consistently, morning and evening, and cover it with a band-aid. The skin around the wart will loosen and the wart itself will eventually die, just be patient. Soaking the wart in water every few days can also help it loosen. Another great thing about this is that it has no smell whatsoever. I have used liquid wart remover in the past and been knocked out by the smell. This is so much more pleasant. 10/10 would buy again.

Finally found something that actually works for plantar warts!
I bought this for my daughter to treat a stubborn plantar wart on her foot, and it is finally doing the trick. If you have tried those liquid drops or freezing kits without success, give this a shot. Because it is maximum strength (40% Salicylic Acid), it really packs the punch needed for those deeper, tougher warts. The solid-stick applicator makes it so much easier to apply precisely to the spot without making a mess or getting the high-strength acid on the healthy skin around it. For anyone using this, just know that it definitely gets worse before it gets better. The area started to look a bit rough as the medication worked its way down, but that is how you know it is actually reaching the root. After a consistent application, the wart is finally clearing up and the skin is healing beautifully. It is a small stick, but a little goes a long way. It has been a lifesaver for my daughter’s foot, and I am so glad we found a solution that actually delivers on its claims. 5 stars for a product that actually works!

Works if you’re consistent, takes TIME
I read a comment mentioning using Vaseline on your skin around the wart, which I have been doing, and the skin around the wart still peels but that’s expected with the strength of this product. My 4 year old unfortunately has two handfuls of warts that vary in size. I have used this every night for three weeks and I can definitely see it’s working. Some are completely gone while others are shrinking by the day. I didn’t want to go the freezing route because he has about 15 between both hands and it just seemed like it would be painful to do so many that way. I use two q-tips, one for Vaseline and one for the treatment- I use a Bobby pin to scoop the treatment out and then onto the q-tip instead of rubbing the stick on the warts directly, then I cover with bandaids. It’s very time consuming. The first week i spent about 45 minutes on each application. I got faster with practice, -and with some of the warts gone now, the time spent is about 15 minutes total for all that are left. It’s harsh on the skin that isn’t being treated, even with the Vaseline- so I wouldn’t recommend anyone use this for multiple days without protecting the untreated skin. So yes, it definitely works, but not quickly and definitely not overnight!! If you have the patience and discipline to do this everyday until healed, it’s a good product. If you’re looking for something quick and easy, I wouldn’t recommend this.

Very impressed
This stuff actually works! I was treating my son’s wort with compound W but it was taking forever. This knocked it out within a couple weeks. Just put it on at bedtime with a bandaid over it. Such a great product and super easy to apply.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finally! A Wart Remover That Actually Works Without the Mess or Sting
I was skeptical at first; everything else I tried didn't work, but WartStick has completely changed my mind. It’s easy to apply, mess-free, and surprisingly gentle—especially compared to the freezing kits and harsh liquids I’ve tried before. 🧴 Solid Stick Format = No Drips, No Fuss. The waxy stick glides on smoothly and stays put. I love that it doesn’t run or sting, and I can apply it precisely without worrying about irritation. 🦶 Effective on Both Common & Plantar Warts. I used it on a stubborn plantar wart and saw visible improvement within a week. The salicylic acid (40%) is strong, but controlled; it softens the wart layer by layer without damaging the surrounding skin. 🌙 Best Used at Night I apply it before bed and cover with a bandage as recommended. This helps the treatment stay in place and speeds up results. 👨👩👧👦 Kid-Friendly & Trusted for Generations. It’s been around for decades and was even invented by a pharmacist. That legacy gives me confidence, especially when using it for my family. If you’re tired of messy liquids or painful freeze kits, WartStick is a gentle, effective alternative. Just be consistent, and you’ll see results.

This works, but...
...maybe not how you expect. NOTE: _This is not medical advice, I am simply retelling an experience with a product. Please consult a physician for medical advice_ Perhaps there are different types of warts out there, but for the case we were dealing with here, this product worked- but in an unexpected way. We assumed the product was like a type of pimple-cream: put it on the affected area as directed, and VIOLA! But not in our case. After 6 weeks of use (about half the recommended time), it was evidence that the wax stick [not sure if it's classified as wax, but that's what I'm calling it here] was just deteriorating the skin around the wart/fungus, and not the actual wart itself. We've never dealt with this before, so we kept applying the wax at least daily, with reports of discomfort (it's literally melting away the skin [turns the skin white, as the wax erodes the dermal layers. The spent wax and skin need cleaned at least twice per day.) In short, because the wax seemed to be taking a very long time, with very little 'direct' effect, a lot of cleaning effort and pain; we decided to use a set of hemostats and pull the root of the wart out. In brief, the wax stick helped erode the top layers of skin to allow us to pull out the root of the wart. This erosion over the course of weeks yielded a small but tolerable pain (versus just cutting directly to the root). Once the skin was soft and white, it was easier to separate the tube of the wart from the sidewall, by twisting in clockwise and counter-clockwise circles/spirals; eventually prying it free from its base. Very painful process I have not been able to find a higher concentration of commercial salicylic acid without having to get into mild chemistry. Perhaps other people have a different type of problem or different experience, but this worked for us. It does cause pain if you rub acid on your foot and walk around on it. We kept everything clean, and after some time of applying product, we let the skin around it heal, and then began application again. We would dress the area with a non-stick bandage and tape. During one of the healing stages (6-8 weeks in), we used a scalpel (Exact-o actually/thank you) to carefully cut the skin free around the white stalk, and then used a slightly duller edge to 'pry' around the edges enough to get ahold of the stalk with the hemostats. At this point, we had to be very careful so as to not break the white stem (it broke once for us, and took a week plus to grow back strong enough to pull on). We very carefully attached the hemostat and locked them. Then, using precise gentle force- pull, turn and twist the stalk. The wart will be attached to the skin it's growing through, so we had to very carefully get the sides free. Because this is a delicate process, it took us over an hour. Using constant, but miniscule torque, we tore the sidewalls of the stalk, from the sidewalls of the skin (both cylindrical). At the base is a rough, root connection to the skin and because we had completely and cleanly separated the sidewall, the base root just popped out. We actually applied more wax to the hole ensure the root was "cleaned out" (but painfully increased closure/healing time) The healing time for a cylindrical wound took us longer time to recover from than a linear cut. During this time, we applied an antibacterial salve and dressed with non-stick bandage and tape. We kept everything clean with rubbing alcohol while working. We were warned not to break pieces of the wart off, as the new pieces may form a new, full, wart. We checked out the area twice daily- cleaning, and inspecting for new growth until the base of the skin was healed completely. [As an aside, we feel this originated from going outdoors in a sub/tropical area with lots of ground fungi- barefoot] So that was our experience, your experience may vary. Don't expect to just put this product on and make your wart go away magically. As noted from the other reviews, it can be painful depending on the user's tolerance level. It will take some effort to remove, and this product can help. 5-stars
