The engine is a little loud and the sound is even louder. That said, I think it's perfect as a test run if you're wanting to start a new tradition but don't want to spend a lot with fear the train might get broken. The circle tracks fit perfectly under our little 4' tree. My 6yo absolutely loves it! Bonus pro: the train will run on the Thomas & friends Trackmaster train tracks. However, the Thomas trains don't fit on this track... You can thank my kiddo for that discovery lol 4 stars due to loudness of engine and sound otherwise very satisfied!

Such cute train set under the Christmas tree, kids love it, adults love it too! So affordable and fun.

I bought this as a gift. I was hoping for better quality, like they used to make them. This is good for the price, but I doubt would last throughout the years. Very light, cheap plastic.

Battery runs out fast, train is extremely annoyingly loud, hard to turn train on without it disconnecting from other train cars as it goes so fast it jolts ahead. Husband bought it and now wants to get rid of it in less than a month of having it.

This Christmas train was a big letdown. The quality feels cheap, the pieces don’t fit together well, and it constantly derails. It’s also louder than expected and doesn’t run smoothly at all. Definitely not worth the price. It looks cute, but the performance is very poor.
