A cursed teenage boy saves mankind one soul at a time. Set in a fictional 19th century England, D.Gray-man is the story of Allen Walker, a 15-year-old boy who roams the earth in search of Innocence . Washed away to unknown parts of the world after The Great Flood, Innocence is the mysterious substance used to create weapons that obliterate demons known as akuma . Allen, now joined by two companions, is still on the run and trying to deal with his demonic alter ego, the Fourteenth. This means avoiding erstwhile allies as well as overt enemies. He also has to prevent one of his companions, fellow Exorcist Kanda, from trying to destroy the Fourteenth while keeping the Fourteenth from destroying his other companion, Johnny, whose zealous devotion to Allen is gratifying but not much help in a fight! This volume is amazing via the art
It was bittersweet seeing this English translation for The last DGM volume before this infinite hiatus that has lasted 2 years so far. This volume is amazing via the art, attention to detail, the pacing and extremely OMG cliffhanger. Definitely makes you want more. It's one of my favorite manga series and a must have for the collection. Amazing series. Definitely a great buy!

This volume was both awesome and bittersweet, mainly since it's the last one until the series get updated. :( I guess I can't say too much here without spoiling it for other readers, but... here's hope to a continuation and more volumes in the future!

I love D. Gray-man and with the complicated plot it ...
I love D.Gray-man and with the complicated plot it keeps getting better and better. Me get to see a bit more about Neah and Mana although nothing too much, enough to bet my mind working imagining plots or ideas. I just wish we could have Vol 25!

I've always loved the d.gray-man series. If your looking at the 24th book I assume you are too. Go ahead complete the story! You know you want to!

If you're interested in great art and a artfully written tale, then you're in for a treat! This series showcases the beauty and nativity of humanity in the backdrop of a dystopian world ruled by fear of "Akuma". The art is beautiful and detailed, and leaves the reader in love with the shading and background. I'm definitely looking forward to further installments of this series, since it grips you with its lifelike characterizations. I'd recommend this series for any reader interested in a dark fantasy with beautiful characterization, and a concept and story that won't leave you.
