Will this product remove oil based paint?

Yes, this is for oil paint. LESS odor but it’s pricey. It won’t remove DRIED oil paint.

Is there a difference between gamsol oms and turpenoid? i'm looking for a solvent to mix with paint as first toned layer on a canvas.

I think it's generally thought that Gambol is the better choice, for an odorless experience. OMS still has fumes, you just don't notice it as much. But the (pricey) Gamsol is regarded as superior. Personally, I tone my canvas with Acrylic , then paint with oils .

Is this this thinner for genesis paint?

I don't know Genesis paints. Gamsol is for fine art oil paints.
