Baker Ross FN099 Safe Grout - 1 x 350g Tub, Craft Grout for Mosaics and Tiles

Mixing ratios from their website: Baker Ross Safe Grout is a craft grout designed for fixing tiles, pebbles, and marble mosaics. It comes in a 350g tub and is suitable for use with sponge dabbers and mosaic stone tiles (sold separately). To mix the grout: Slowly add water to the dry powder until you achieve a smooth, firm paste. The recommended ratio is approximately 4 parts grout powder to 1 part water. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is consistent and free of lumps. After mixing: Spread a layer onto your work surface and place your tiles. Use a flat tool to spread another layer of grout over your design. Wipe away excess grout with a damp sponge or cloth using circular motions. Allow the grout to dry completely until fully hardened, then wipe with a dry cloth to remove dust.

Love this grout, so much easier, and safer than other grouts which I worry about toxicity. My craft group used this with coloured glass tiles and it was easy to mix up and apply leaving a lovely finish. I would also use this with children and maybe add a bit of coloured paint if I wanted different coloured grout. Little goes a long way. Like others my tub was damaged in transit and Amazon need to address this issue with better packaging. However they did replace it and the second delivery was fine.

This product does not come with any mixing ratios. You end up using significantly more than you need. I was using this with a group of children and the consistency of the grout was hit and miss.

NO INSTRUCTIONS included to tell you how to mix the grout. Nothing on the label either. It's just the tub of dry powder. Won't be ordering again.

Product arrived cracked and spilt all over the rest of my order. Unfortunately had to be used so had to rescue as much as possible as didn’t have time to purchase more. The grout worked however it had no instructions on how to use it all all.

No instructions??? How should I make it up?

Iim Kreativbereich verwendbar, doch nicht uneingeschränkt. Mir ist dieser Mörtel manchmal nicht fest genug nach der Verarbeitung (auch Tage danach nicht). Da hatte ich früher besseres Produkt (anderer Hersteller). Darum vier Sterne!

J'avais commandé un kit sur le site de 10 doigts de mosaïque pour la fête des parents et le kit était trop grand. Il m'a donc fallu commander du joint. Mais dans l'explication du joint et comme sur la photo on y voit un petit bac sur lequel réalisé le mélange. Dans la réalité on ne reçoit que un petit seau de joint.
