Awesome product

In April 2022, I bought this landing pad. It's now January 2026 and it's working perfectly. In fact, I hadn't had it out in a year. I bought a DJI MINI 3 PRO, then remembered the landing pad. The lights came right on, even with old batteries. I don't usually keep batteries in anything stored, but I must have forgotten to take them out. I keep a fresh set in the bag with the landing pad. The colors are still vibrant. The lights work. It's a great landing pad.

I only have a couple of minor issues with this item or else I would’ve given it 5 stars.. first issue would be the lack of instructions as far as how to fold it how to store it how to set up the lighting that comes along with it as well as the reflective decals. After installing the lights get the come with the item I went to land my DJI drone on it in the props got a hold of the wires and severed them I thought that’s not a problem I’ll just order new ones I have no way of ordering those new ones there’s no options available for the seller from the seller.. Those would be the two issues that I have I’m on able to order new lights so I’m gonna have to order in entirely new item complete with the lights.. As for durability and thickness I believe those two go hand-in-hand if it weren’t for the thickness of the item the durability would be moot at best… Because the overall thickness of the item it is an extremely durable item as far as I can tell and ask for the money for the value I think it’s a bit overpriced for what you get however I’m not complaining I have no problems with the paying the price for the item however I would like to be able to purchase additional replacement parts if needed… Kind regards, “DJi Drone pilot”

Great landing pad just as described

The LED strip is a great add on to a folding drone landing zone! This landing pad has a better reinforced plastic edge than others supporting our little fleet. As mentioned in a prior review, many of the higher end drones don't need an illuminated landing pad, however this is a great touch if flying in early morning or evening where shadows may fall over the landing zone. It is also very visible when landing using the LEDs on the dark background with reflective H pattern side. It is also a very useful thing to practice landings where the RTH feature screws up. I've had this happen on older thermal mapping drones. The only quirk: there is one loop for a stake, the other stakes can catch the aforementioned plastic edge to hold down the landing pad.

The light is not bright at all. In pitch dark it is still barely visible on the fpv screen. It works great but make sure your stakes are low as to not hit props and same with the battery pack, tuck it. I hoped it would be 10x brighter than it is hence the 3 stars
