What size mm is the jack?

For the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 compatible ones, it's a sub-mini, like 2.5mm. Smaller than a standard headphone jack (3.5mm of 1/8th inch). They do have a standard one as well. Works great to add BT to the old Bose headphones.

Will this bluetooth adapter work for incoming calls with my cell phone? Will it take and make phone calls?

It will answer your incoming calls if you push the on button while the headset is in use. We use this with our old wired Bose noise cancelling headphones to convert to Bluetooth/wireless headphones. It works great! As for outgoing calls, you’ll need to address dialing through Siri. So have to either ask phone to call or hold button on the phone to ask Siri to call person in your contacts.
