Good buy!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Essential Productivity Suite With Excellent Cloud Storage Microsoft 365 Personal continues to be a solid, all-in-one solution for everyday productivity. The subscription includes access to the full Office suite—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook—along with up to 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage, which is more than enough for documents, photos, and backups. Ease of Use: Setup through Amazon was straightforward, and the subscription activated quickly. I appreciate the annual auto-renew option since it avoids interruptions and the hassle of manual renewal. Performance & Features: All apps run smoothly across devices, and the AI-powered features (such as writing suggestions, formatting help, and smart Excel tools) genuinely enhance efficiency. The ability to work seamlessly between desktop, web, and mobile versions is a big plus. Cloud Storage: The 1TB of storage is a standout feature. Automatic backups and easy file sharing make it feel secure and convenient, especially if you work across multiple devices. Pros: • Full Office apps included • Large 1TB cloud storage • AI features boost productivity • Works across multiple devices • Easy auto-renewing subscription Cons: • Limited to one user • Requires ongoing subscription rather than a one-time purchase Overall, this is an excellent option for students, professionals, or anyone who relies on Office apps daily. It’s reliable, constantly updated, and offers strong value for an annual subscription.

Convenient all-in-one package for families, but renewal price is quite high
I got this mainly because multiple people in the house needed access to Office apps and cloud storage, and overall it’s been very convenient. Having Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive all under one subscription makes things much simpler, especially when sharing across different devices. The amount of cloud storage is generous as well — up to 1TB per person adds up quickly if you store lots of photos, documents, or backups. The inclusion of McAfee is a useful extra if you want basic security coverage without buying separate software. Setup was fairly straightforward, and everything synced across laptops and phones without much hassle. It’s especially useful if several people in the household regularly use Office apps for work, school, or personal files. The main downside is the renewal cost. Once the introductory period is over, it becomes quite expensive annually, especially if not everyone included actually uses all the features. Some people may also already prefer free alternatives for basic document editing. Overall, a solid subscription package if you actively use Microsoft Office across multiple users and devices, just worth keeping an eye on the long-term renewal pricing.

Beware account linking .... you don't get a licence key any more !
Beware ... I followed the instructions for activating the key, but when my previous key expiry date arrived, I was being told that I had no licence and had exceeded storage by 1300 %. I was also unaware that on my PC files that I thought were being stored on the C: drive were actually being stored in One Drive, so it felt like my files were being held to ransom as well! Lack of licence, and the fact that the size of my storage exceeded free storage, it stopped me sending emails from my hotmail account, and was warning that I would not be able to receive any either after XX days - very inconvenient and stressful when in the process of selling a house!! I logged into my hotmail account, I was told that my licence had expired. After going round in circles for days/hours I tried redeeming again, and was told that the product key had already been used - it gave enough details for me to recognise the account - one my daughter had been using. I would not have chosen that account - I don't even know the password. At 14:01 on the day of redemption I updated security information on my hotmail account (confirmed by email) and at 14:13 it inexplicably welcomed my daughter to her 365 subscription. So I am now going to have to keep my daughters account as the primary, as I understand that the key cannot be transferred to another account. What a mess !! Reading the other 1 star reviews, I can see that others have experienced difficulties as well. As it is now on auto renew, I guess that it will renew in my daughters name next year. If I can wriggle out of this, I will seriously consider not bothering in future and using Open Office instead. Previously, the purchase of a licence key gave me control, but this auto-linking has messed things up completely!! Microsoft/Amazon really need to do better.

Office for the family
Microsoft Office, for up to 6 Microsoft Family members, with up to 5 devices and 1TB OneDrive Could storage per user. What's not to love? Fair price for the Amazon managed subscription and less that going direct. Previous reviews indicate issues with activations and installation but from my experience there's only a couple of things of note. You can extend a preexisting Microsoft 365 Family subscription using this Amazon managed subscription. There is no traditional activation code required or provided. A quick and simple process: purchase the subscription. Access the activation link via email or Amazon account. Sign in to the Microsoft account you'd like the subscription assigned to and the subscription should be active. It's valid 12 months from activation date, not purchase date. Windows installs signed in with the relevant MS account have no problems. Android devices have taken a couple of days to pick up the subscription, specifically the Outlook app, which is rumoured to be down to slower backend service sync cycles for Amazon managed subscriptions. For Apple and iOS: good luck - if downloading check you architecture and OS versions prior to attempting. Download speed has everything to do with your network and connection, not specifically MS or Amazon. The software runs as well as you'd expect for your device, newer is generally better but not exclusively. A downside? I do wish MS would get over pushing copilot quite so hard. Love it or hate it, will be here to stay. Use it or not. Subscription does include AI credits for.thw account holder.

Excellent Value for Multi User Productivity and Storage
Microsoft 365 Family is a very practical subscription that offers excellent value, especially for households or small groups. Being able to share access with up to 6 people makes it cost effective while still providing full access to premium Office apps. The inclusion of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook works seamlessly across devices, and everything syncs smoothly through OneDrive. The combined storage of up to 6TB is particularly useful for backing up documents, photos, and important files securely in the cloud. The apps are stable, regularly updated, and easy to use across both desktop and mobile devices. The added AI features also help improve productivity by assisting with writing, formatting, and data organisation. Setup is straightforward through the Amazon subscription, and managing users and devices is simple via the Microsoft account dashboard. Overall, this is a highly reliable and feature rich subscription that is ideal for families or shared households needing productivity tools and cloud storage in one package.

Repeat buying every year says it all.
I buy every year, sometimes you’ll find a 15 month edition. More expensive this year due to AI additions. I buy for the family to enjoy 1TB of cloud space each. Not particularly bothered or have the ability to use the Office Apps, just use Word for letters. Been buying it for years and OneDrive has come in useful on more than one occasion. Just a tip, always look to buy on Prime Day or Black Friday etc, you’ll always find deals and you can renew well before expiry and I believe you can stack up to 5 years in advance.

Attaching 365 subscription to the wrong Microsoft account
We all know this is a great product and the technical issues that most people have would occur wherever you purchase the licence. EXCEPT the issue of validating the subscription. Amazon needs to make people aware that this is an automated process relying on cookies in your web browser. If you have multiple Microsoft Accounts - BEWARE! I'll try to explain for this for the not technically minded... You either have Microsoft 365 already or you don't. You may not get the issue if you do not already subscribe to 365, so long as you don't have multiple 'Microsoft accounts'. For safety, I would suggest caution if you use multiple different email addresses (because any email address can be used to create a Microsoft account). The problem occurs when you are using a web browser that is currently logged in to the wrong Microsoft account. As in my case, I have at least two Microsoft accounts. There is the one I use all the time and I logon to my Windows PC using this account. In my web browser, I logged on at the Microsoft.com site to check the length of my current 365 subscription. Unfortunately, in another tab on my web browser, I was also logged in to a email account at hotmail.com. This is attached to a different Microsoft account and being a Microsoft provided service, logging on to the email account, logs on the Microsoft account at the same time. This 365 subscription is entirely managed by Amazon as a service provider. When you activate your 365 subscription, you logon to Amazon (you probably are already, having just made the purchase) and go to your 'Subscriptions' area. Then you click on a link to 'activate'. This will forward you to the Microsoft web site and if you are already logged on inside your browser using a Microsoft account, Microsoft will assign the subscription to this logged on account. If (like me!), you are inadvertently logged on to multiple Microsoft accounts, the licence (subscription) might get assigned to the wrong account, as it did for me. If this happens, Microsoft can't help. You need to get Amazon to phone you back. Using their Customer Service pages, look for 'software/digital downloads' and get them to phone you or use the chat facility. They will cancel your purchase (and subscription presumably) and refund you. You can then reorder. In hindsight, when I logon to a Microsoft account in a web browser, the first page you see is a list of accounts currently logged in through the browser. You need to make sure, the only one logged on is the MS account that you intend to manage your 365 subscription.
