Quality 3M Film & Easy Install with Right Technique
Outstanding product. 3M โ200โ grade film grade is perfect thickness. Edges are cut perfectly. Key to install success is using slip solution, a light touch with central to perimeter squeegeeing . Here is how I did it: Make a DIY slip solution (12oz distilled water with 20 drops of dawn in a spray bottle). Wear new nitrile gloves. Clean paint surfaces with rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth. Spray copious slip solution on paint surface and your gloves/fingers. Peel off film and spray copious slip solution on the adhesive side of the film. Gently place soapy film on soapy paint surface and position it symmetrically. I made a deliberate visual reference to position the film where I assessed it would best protect the paint from nails and rings. With an index finger, lightly press and squeegee from the center to the top central edge and repeat evenly left and right of center while ensuring the film stays centered. Youโll notice the film start adhering as you squeegee more slip solution from under the film. Continue on the lower half, always starting from the center. Finishing squeegeeing with more pressure using a microfiber cloth - again always from the center towards the edges. A head lamp with help you see soap under the film which will guide your squeegeeing efforts. Once the film is all clear of cloudy soap, youโre done! Itโll look like a pro did it.

Good guards
I just got a new truck - I wanted the hard plastic guards but couldnโt find any that would match the color so I went with these instead. They arenโt as robust as the hard plastic ones of course but they are enough to prevent the door edge from scratching or chipping (as long as you donโt hit anything too hard). I was a little concerned about being able to get them on straight but it was fairly easy really. They stretch a little which helps get them around creases in the door. EDIT: If you get air bubbles you can lift it, get the bubble out, reattach it and keep going - I had to do that multiple times. Itโs kind of like putting on a phone screen protector - you can get the bubbles out once, maybe twice, then it looses its stickiness. But the main reason for my edit is to show you what happens if you hit something with your door. In this photo you can see that it ripped the edge guard but the underlying paint was fine. I hit my wife's mirror since garage space is tight with a truck in there and the photo is what it did. So I think it protected my door edge but it has to be replaced because it looks like the door is chipped (itโs not).

Run donโt walk
Iโve had these on my car for over a year and not one of these has started to peel. I drive a luxury car and was nervous that the kids would scratch the handles but I havenโt had not one problem yet. They arrived as the were advertised and the adhesive is durable and they were easy to install.

Good product but need a little larger size
Little patient, a spray bottle of soap and water, and a dry micro towel can archive this task. Wipe clean the surface, and spray water to the install area, make sure it wet, peel off the backing, apply to the area. It will slippery, use the dry micro towel and wipe around the protector to remove extra water. Work slowly, try to remove any bubble build up in the protector, squeeze the bubble out by hand or fingers, patiently, one door at a time. What I don't like is the product is little smaller than I want. it's thick, and good quality.

Tad but short and difficult to install using plain water as per the installation instructions
Dimension is a tad bit short for my vehicle but will do for now. Could have been at least a half inch taller. Also, installing with water as recommended is very difficult and prone to frustration. If you do purchase this item, it's best to use soapy water as mentioned in one of the reviews.

Sorry, not for me
Very difficult to install. Haven't figured out how to spray water on both the paint AND the film and then ensuring that no excess water remains. It's not like window tint film where you can use a squegee on a flat surface. Somehow you have to get your finger(s) behind the handle and drag your finger towards the edge acting as a squegee, all the while making sure it doesn't slide or move. Would not recommend this as a DIY project. Would be difficult enough if there was no door handle. With one it's close to impossible.

Good value - easy application
Application was quick and easy. Cleaned the wax off first, then used a couple drops of Dawn in 16 oz water to ease how the protectors slide into place

Use SOAPY water.
Works great on my 26 Sienna. The tricky is to use soapy water, not just water.
