I use a lot of protein powder since my bariatric surgery 6 years ago. I try to get protein from food sources but I just can’t eat enough unless I only eat protein and literally nothing else. I generally use vanilla and fruit and make a shake every morning and then add a portion of a scoop of unflavored protein to my water bottles along with a lemon-lime electrolyte powder. My protein is always great but I’ve struggled with bloating and have tried so many brands. ChatGPT actually recommended this product for me and it was spot on!! I’m only using the unflavored powder and have had no bloating since making the switch!!! I like that it has very few ingredients that might irritate my sensitive digestive system. It has a great amount of protein, blends perfectly, doesn’t add any thickness, no smell and is truly taste free. It’s a perfect replacement to add to my water concoction. I was skeptical in making a shake with it but it actually works just fine. Instead of using a vanilla powder I just add a squirt of liquid stevia for sweetness and pure vanilla extract. I also just bought skinny girl naturally flavored vanilla syrup that works equally as well and is just less steps. To make my shakes thick I either use oat/almond milk and ice instead of water or I can make it with water, ice and frozen fruit. It tastes just like a milkshake. Another good thing about only buying the unflavored is that I can add any flavor sugar free syrup, stevia and any flavor extract, or powders like PB powder or baking cocoa to come up with so many different shake combos. It takes up so much less space doing it that way than having a variety of protein powder flavors. I’m very happy!

I’ve tried other protein powders over the years, and most of them left me dealing with bloating or that heavy, uncomfortable feeling. Naked Protein has been a completely different experience. What stands out immediately is how clean the ingredients are, no unnecessary fillers, artificial sweeteners, or weird additives. My digestion feels so much better with this compared to other brands, and I’ve had zero bloating since switching. It also blends really well, especially in smoothies. No clumping, no chalky texture, and it doesn’t overpower the taste of what you mix it with, which I really appreciate. If you’re someone who’s sensitive to protein powders or just want something simple and clean, this is absolutely worth trying. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

This is a very good product, pure and unflavored, I wanted to add protein to my diet in the morning, but i have a habit of not eating. so my solution was how to add it to my coffee, so with experimenting with hot coffee, i came up with the solution that works for me, "i" will get a 8oz empty cup, and fill it up with the dry protein powder, leave room for water, then i add water slowly, mixing it with a spoon, then, i will use my handheld "small" electric mixer and blend it together real well, it will Have a foamy appearance, I keep it liquidly, I will then put Saran wrap on it and put it in the refrigerator. the next day it will kind of a clear syrupy looking Texture, you can dilute it a little bit more to make it easier to work with I will then put it into like an empty Gatorade bottle and keep it in the refrigerator. for me I like measuring it with a two-tablespoon cup and I slowly mix it in my hot coffee. You may want to experiment on smaller batches until you get it the way you want but it works great for me, I do it every morning and I have no problems.

I have never had just whey protein powder without all the chems and flavors. This was so refreshing and clean! Creams up Greek yogurt for a fabulous fruit dip like sliced apples or berries! I’m so happy I tried this product!! Can do so much to add different creamy flavors. Fabulous!!!

I was happy with my first purchase. Clean, simple, easy, effective, and everything. It used to have a liiitle tiny bit of acidic smell but I couldn’t taste it anyway after it was dissolved so I didn’t care. It was like super healthy powdered milk. Nothing like other weird tasting protein shakes and bars, which are so artificial with whatever “flavor enhancing” and stabilizing ingredients. Now, I noticed that the price went up. And the texture changed a little bit. The acidic smell is gone, first of all. And the powder is less lumpy and so evenly fine. They must have introduced some new technology. I like it even more now. I experienced a significantly more muscle growth with this product. Equal amounts of proteins from meats or plant based powders couldn’t bring the same result as this one. I drink this every day. I bought it multiple times now for my loved ones, too. Feel the power yeah!!

I really liked this product and I appreciate the quality and purity of it. But I do want to mention to the manufacturers that despite storing it as recommended it went rancid (smelled and tasted bad, not light and fresh like it did when I first got it) before I could use it all and had to throw quite a bit of it out. It's possible that it got overheated as we had some hot spring days, and this would be my failure, but I would appreciate it if it came in a 1 lb container rather than a 2 lb one so I could use it up faster. It's supposed to last 6 months to a year if stored properly after opening. I was little past the 6 months, so that's probably on me. I decided to try the pea protein which comes in a 1 lb container rather than risk wasting it again. The Whey ISO price has really increased and I can't afford to have to throw it out again. If you buy this just make sure you use it promptly and store it well. If possible add a dessicating pad to the container and don't store in the fridge or anywhere where it may attract moisture!

I hope I am doing this EDIT correctly…I was very impressed with this product when I wrote my Review back in ‘25…so impressed that I have ordered and consumed some 11 jars of it. However, the last 2 purchases have been different and not in such a good way. The product used to be “fluffy” in texture and would dissolve without a fuss. Now the product is a fine powder which is more difficult to dissolve. Water surround the powder making little clumps that must be “whizzed” with battery whisk to dissolve or long shaking. This also causes a lot of unneeded foaming. Some of the powder also clings to the mixing vessel. Like I said, something has changed. The original product had “0” Sodium; the current product has 65mg; the original containers proudly stated product was from New Zealand dairies. No longer says that on label. It is still a GOOD product, but it is not currently at the pinnacle it once was. I hope the manufacturer sees this and adjusts. I also wrote to the mfr, but so far no reply. My Original Review of 2025: I am well past the body-building stage of life, and my interest in protein is to stave off “sarcopenia” which is age-related progressive loss of muscle tissue. Like many, I have tried dozens of protein supplements, both powders and liquids. The common turn-off for me is the cloying sweetness, and the “artificial” taste. I know that whey, by itself, should be almost tasteless, or with only a hint of a dairy taste. None of the unflavored whey preparations that I have tried met that standard, however. Naked Whey ISO meets and exceeds that standard by a country mile. It has no odor when you open the bottle and virtually no taste when dissolved in water. It dissolves easily without clumping. I can now really enjoy my protein, as opposed to taking it like an unpleasant medicine. My favorite prep is using Naked Whey ISO in my morning java. I brew my fave roast, and while it’s brewing, I dissolve the 2 scoops of whey in about 1/4 cup room temp water. I then pour coffee into dissolved protein in the cup while stirring, add my creamer and enjoy. I’ve done the same with cappuccinos, too. Pull the shots, and then add the dissolved whey to the coffee and then top off with the steamed/frothed milk of choice. Another big plus with the Naked Whey ISO is its low lactose content. No longer do I have to remember to take lactase caplets along with unpleasant tasting protein drinks. Thank you, Naked Nutrition!

This protein powder is excellent. No overpowering flavour or crazy additives. I use it in my smoothies and it blends super well. I don’t do well with lactose but since this is isolate, I haven’t had any issues with it. It also doesn’t have any gluten. I also like that it doesn’t have a bunch of excess packaging. It doesn’t come in a huge container that is only half full. It comes in a smaller, full container with a scoop to measure out my daily protein intake. Clear instructions and one ingredient. 10/10

Great protein! Truly is the best neutral tasting protein. It blends well and no chalky feel. Will be purchasing more.
