Anker Nano USB A to USB C Cable, CarPlay USB to USB C Cable (3 ft, Black)

Anker is one of those brands where they always produce quality, durable, and high end tech products. It is no different with this cable as it is braided, effective at charging, available at many different lengths, lightweight, and portable. I have used this cable in my car to connect my CarPlay and it works wonderfully with no connectivity issues.

If you’ve ever had your GPS cut out in the middle of a turn because your cheap charging cable wiggled loose, you know why a high-quality cord is essential for the car. I bought this Anker Upcycled Braided USB-A to USB-C cable specifically for my iPhone 16/17 and CarPlay setup, and it’s been flawless. The Breakdown: Rock-Solid CarPlay Connectivity: Many USB-C cables are great for charging but terrible for data transfer in a car environment. This Anker cable provides a stable, high-speed data link. I haven't experienced a single "Communication Error" or lag since switching to this. The "3-Foot" Sweet Spot: This is the ideal length for a car. It’s long enough to let you pick up your phone to change a song at a red light, but short enough that you don't have two feet of extra cable tangled around your gear shifter or cup holders. Upcycled Braiding: The texture of this cable is excellent. It’s a "bio-braided" nylon that feels premium and, more importantly, is resistant to the heat of a car interior. It doesn't get stiff in the winter or "sticky" in the summer. Compatibility: Even though I use it for my iPhone, it works perfectly for fast-charging my Samsung Note20 and other USB-C devices. It’s a great "universal" cord to have in the passenger seat. Pros: Reinforced Stress Points: The neck of the cable (where it usually frays) is reinforced with a thick rubber housing. It feels like it can handle being bent 90 degrees in a tight center console storage bin. Clean Aesthetic: The White color looks sharp and is easy to find in a dark car interior at night. Tangle-Free: The braiding is stiff enough that it doesn't knot up on itself, even if you throw it in the glovebox. Cons: USB-A to USB-C: Make sure your car actually has a USB-A (the classic rectangular) port. Many newer 2024/2025 vehicles are moving to USB-C ports only. If your car is newer, you might need the USB-C to USB-C version. White Shows Dirt: While the white looks great, if you're eating fries or have dirty hands from work, the braided fabric will eventually show some smudges.

Any time I need an electronic product, I reach for Anker. Every product I’ve ever used or owned, from chargers to headphones, to power blocks and surge protectors. They are always quality products. What I like about this is the length and the added cable tie. It’s perfect for my 2020 Toyota Sienna which requires a cable to use CarPlay. I can use the tie to shorten the charging cable so it’s not in the way or can lengthen it if it’s needed for charging elsewhere in the vehicle. It works perfectly for Apple CarPlay and it’s a fun color.

Works great! Charges faster than my old cable. The 3-foot length is long enough to allow me to put my phone in my bag when charging. Lavender color is my fav. Great Anker product.

The cord is amazing. It comes with an elastic so you can wrap the wire if it’s too long. It fits perfectly in my car. The only down fall of the cord is when I play music once in a while my left speaker goes out and doesn’t play music l. I just got a new car from the dealership so I don’t know if it’s the car or the cord

I bought this cord to connect my front dash cam to my usb-a port on my car. The cord that came with my cam was for a cigarette lighter hole and my husband's truck doesn't have a lighter insert anymore and mine was being used to have extra usb-a and c cord connections. We got these so that we would have more than enough room to run them down to our usb-a ports. They weren't quite long enough to be able to tuck it around the trim and behind the glove compartment so I just plugged it into the cam and let it hang down to the adapter. It keeps my cam on and recording at all times when I have the power on in the vehicle. I loved how durable the cord is and have zero fears that it will ever become frayed at the connection points. I used this cord when I first got it to charge my phone and it appeared as Fast Charging, quickly getting my battery full. The cable thickness isn't any thicker than your average charger cord. But my absolute favorite thing about this cord is that they had so many varieties of colors! I ended up buying a black one for my husband and I got the pastel purple and let me tell you, its the prettiest shade and very true to the pictures advertised. It also has this removable rubber thing to be able to wrap the excess cord up with and i love it so much more than the usual velcro ones you usually get. It's adjustable and just looks so much cleaner than the velcro alternative.
