Go ahead and get it!
The kid loved it! It was fun watching them put it together, they were very excited and so happy to see their joy as they completed it by themselves. It looks really cool too! Would recommend to anyone with curious and creative kiddos!

Just Okay Plane
Extremely hard to put together. It was a really good gift in theory and would be pretty awesome if we could figure out how to assemble it. We had planned to put it on a shelf in my son’s room if we could ever put it together.

Fine Minimalist Execution
Very nice model. I'm an older adult with extensive modeling experience, (mostly wood ships and planes), but recently became interested in these bolt together metal models. I've built a dozen or so and this one is about the simplest, and for that reason, perhaps my favorite. It is in homage to the designer to create something, from mostly flat erector set plates, that well ... looks like a Race Car! It is truly representational ART. The execution of this is well done. The pieces fit together nicely and although marketed as a toy, it is a pleasing thing as a static display. I like how the bolts shine against the metal in the light. As for a child's STEM project, I would recommend this kit for its simplicity. The bolts are relatively easy to get to and the instructions and order of build are logical. I'm not sure how it will hold up to playing but my rowdy 4 year old nephew put it through some paces and only required re-tightening of a few pieces. So??? And did I mention how good it looks in the light? Enjoy.

For advanced users with small hands!
I bought this for my son and husband to put together and it was so difficult due to the tiny screws and flimsy material that my husband did it all and said that the age ranges are nowhere near reliable. I do not recommend this purchase
