A very sturdy drone, great for beginners & easy to learn
This drone is pretty nice, reasonably priced unit that will make a good purchase for a first-time or limited-experience to-be drone pilot. Fold the arms out, clip in the blade guards with minimal effort, press the power button on the drone and then press the standard auto take off button on the controller - you can be up and running in just a minute or two. I had the fun of trying this out on a pretty windy day - not optimal weather for a drone, especially one as small and light as this one, but I'm happy to say that it did alright. It couldn't fight the occasional 20 or 30 mph gust of wind, but I can tell you that it has survived more crashes and more harder horizontal crashes than any other drone I've flown ... er, for review purposes, of course ... and the only real result was that I popped one of the screw covers off, and I didn't even notice that until I was writing this review! The drone is not the fastest, but it hovers in place well once you've calibrated it, and it gracefully slides in a steady, predictable way. After 10 minutes of flight, the drone began blinking to let me know the battery was running low - I did not wait until it fully drained because my kids wanted to see it do flips, which it did quite well. The headless mode, camera, and all the other features also work as you'd expect. Though surely not recommended, I had it land in my palm a few times just to prove I could, plus did a 360 walk-around video - though I posted one of it in motion instead. It's pretty stable. Let's talk about what you get: A folding drone that weighs almost nothing, a controller (plus the 3 triple A batteries it needs), 2 drone batteries with 2 matching USB charging cables, 4 blade guards, 4 replacement blades, 8 replacement screws, a mini screwdriver, 4 replacement screw caps, an instruction manual, a controller cheat sheet, and a carrying case that holds everything. Some of the nice things to note: - 2 chargers for 2 batteries is a great touch! The chargers themselves have an indicator light letting you know when they're full! - 8 screws and 4 full blade replacements is far more than normal - but given how sturdy this thing is, I might never need them! Plus the right sized screwdriver - They actually provided the batteries for the controller. That's a class move right there. I was even confident enough with this to let my 9 year old daughter take it for a few flights (under supervision, of course). She used it to peek into her own bedroom and was delighted, right before running it into some bamboo and then bouncing it off an inflatable christmas octopus. No worries - the drone was fine. Popped a blade guard back into place, straightened an arm, and it was back up in seconds. I'm telling you, this thing can take a hit. All in all, a great purchase.

Very cool drone!!
Great drone and very easy to fly and control. I'm a total rookie with drones, but found this very easy to operate and fly. The lights make it very easy to spot when flying late in the day. I love the carrying case - super tough and small enough to not take up a bunch of room if space is a problem. I also found the "one button landing" feature very handy. The camera/video resolution is fantastic and easy to use.

Disregard the other review.
Actually I'm doing a update review on the drone, and my first review wasn't that happy with the item I was not able to get it to fly the way I was trying to get it to fly and it would stop running AND just fall out of the sky for no reason, I was thinking that either the other reviews were not about the same drone or they never actually flown it and was going on the value, appearance, etc but I think I had a drone that was possessed with demons or something because I returned the original drone for the exact same drone and the new drone is difference between night and day it is very easy to fly it has a decent range before it loses signal and the size of it and the way it functions you couldn't ask for a better starter drone or even a drone with someone who's had some experience since the camera is able to adjust by the remote only and the ease of flying the drone you're getting a really nice strong for the price of 40 or 50 bucks, now the first drone I got wasn't me worth $10 but like I said I think it had a demon or two because he never flew right from day one and it was a constant battle shrine to keep it flying just nearby without floating off and ran out of power and just falling from the sky so disregard my first review because if I would have got this drone first I would have gave it five stars no problem but due to the fact that the first drone was not this good, and I had to return it but the second one has been perfect it's the only reason for the four-star review instead of five-star and I think I might have said that you are wasting your money and time buying it, but the truth is if you don't end up getting another one like the first one, and get one that works like it should work, your getting a lot of drone for the price and I wasn't going to leave the first review and not tell you my experience because I don't have any complaints about the drone that I have now, but If you get a drone and it's not responding to the controller and you can't get it fixed after a few flights then you may have gotten a lemon as well and you might have to exchange it for one that is working properly.

Great quality and very simple to use
I received this drone last night and immediately put the two batteries that came with it on the charger. Here are some initial observations before even using this thing: 1. It comes with a very nice zippered case 2. Not only does it come with two batteries, which most of the drones seem to have, but it also has two charging cables so that you can have them both ready at the same time. 3. Downloading the app, creating an account and setting it up was simple. I just installed the batteries and took it outside for a test run. This drone is very stable. With no adjustments at all, it hovers right where you left it. Control is a breeze. One button take off and landing is a nice feature, which you don't have to use if you don't want to. The quality of the video is also very good. Seems to be high definition. I've had several drones over the years, and this is by far the easiest one to use. I highly recommend it, and I don't think you can do better for the price.

Excellent Beginner Drone!
Excellent Beginner Drone Easy to Use and Great Value! We’re very pleased with the JY02 Foldable Drone! It was very easy to unbox, and the instructions were clear and simple to follow and perfect for beginners. Setup took just a few minutes and had it up and flying in no time. The drone handles really well in the air and is very easy to maneuver, even for first-time flyers like us. One of the features we appreciated most was the inclusion of replacement propellers, protective guard and the extra battery. This was a thoughtful bonus that adds real value. Overall, this drone is well-designed, fun to fly, and incredibly user-friendly. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-operate drone!

Broke the 2nd time it touched a twig.
TL;DR - Broke the 2nd time it touched a tree limb. Decent drone, didn't try the camera. Easy to control, but durability is trash. Fortunately it's more of a hover and record drone. I bought it for my dogs to chase but they weren't very interested in it anymore. It's easy to fly, quite slow, and definitely made for photography or just kids playing around. Speed is quite slow even on fastest... even compared to a cheap drone I bought 8 years ago. Take off and landing are very easy. Comes with 2 batteries. If you just want a drone to fly with no obstacles around and pan around for video, I'm sure it would be great. Absolutely not meant to be chased or play, and a rotor broke upon lightly hitting a tree branch twig.

Fun and Easy Drone to Use!
This is a nice inexpensive drone that is easy to set up and use. The set up consists of charging the drone batteries (they give you 2), installing the blade guards, putting batteries in the control unit, and then downloading the app and setting up a logon. Once everything was setup, it was quick and easy to get flying. The controller has some "quick" function buttons that make it easy to launch or land without fuss. With the quick launch and no wind, the drone rises and hovers, waiting for controller inputs to move it about. There are a few directional controls to learn and use, but there's an overlay card for the controller that helps identify the controls you need. After about 10 minutes practice, it was possible to fly the drone around without too much trouble. Still learning to do more complex maneuvers, but so far it's been pretty easy and fun to fly it around!
