Monster Rancher, the original English version of Monster Farm, contains all 73 episodes of the anime directed by Hiroyuki Yano on 2 discs. Winning the Monster Farm video game tournament was the high point of Genki Sakura's young life. Every day since then has been so boring in comparison. He's been waiting and waiting for his tournament prize, a game disc that he will be the first in the world to get to try out, but every day without it is agony. The real world is so boring in comparison to the world of monsters. Wouldn't it be better if he could just go live there? Finally his prize arrives, and it's everything he's ever dreamed of - literally, in this case, as somehow he ends up transported into the world of the video game! There, he meets Holly, a young girl who is trying to summon the Phoenix by using a disc stone (strangely similar to the CD Genki just got!), and Suezo, a monster just like from the game. Good series with action, humor, and heart
The series is good with a lot of episodes. The characters are uniquely different but all funny at times. The animtion is good with plenty of action. It is definitely worth watching.

Monsters Rule!
I'm so glad I got this, I didn't think I would see these shows on DVD or Blue Ray. I remember seeing this and other shows on Fox family channel on Saturday or Sunday morning. The quality and story are great, just like the good old days. Remember Monsters Rule!

Well worth it for any collector !
Good SD quality on 2 Blu-ray Discs the case came cracked but who cares lol I have a series I’ve been waiting a while to collect and that’s all that matters.

The whole series for this low price when I was thinking of starting to grab the old DVD sets for 80+ each. Title says it all. Great to have this along side Darkwing Duck and others

Well worth it, especially for old fans.
This is a great collection at a much more affordable price than trying to collect all of the old episodes on DVD. Even though it's standard definition, the quality is still fantastic. For fans of the old games and shows this is perfect.

Lies about region locking
Product wouldn't play on my PS4 Blu-Ray player because the disc says it's locked to Region A. The product description said it will work in PAL region 2 players. It didn't.
