Snoring has all but stopped and blood O2 has improved
I've only worn this for a few nights, and so far, I'm impressed. The attached image is from SnoreLab, and I have never seen my score so low. I don't have previous data, but I often hit Epic snoring levels with a significant amount of Loud in the mix. The results pictured are amazing, and I'm very happy with them. My Apple watch often says my overnight blood oxygen is around 90%, and when I use my backpack, it goes up to 93%. I live at 7,000 ft above sea level, so that will not improve too much unless I move. I have been diagnosed with mild sleep apnea, and my Dr. said the best thing would be to sleep on my side, and the backpack accomplishes this. I find the backpack comfortable, and it does not interfere with sleeping. It's not summer, so I can't say anything about it being hot. This is a great purchase if you're looking to stop snoring or have help with mild sleep apnea. I highly recommend getting a snoring app so you have data to confirm how well it's working.

What Woody Doesn't Want You to Know
What Woody Doesn't Know and doesn't want you to know 1) the product is poorly constructed - the bladder started leaking air after only 8 months of use 2) they have no customer service - no phone number to call and i have sent 2 emails to their customer service email and they did not respond to either email. stay away from this brand!!

So far, ok, but …
First, let me say, I think this will work. I’ve had eye surgery and cannot lay on my back for 6 mos. Previous back tube moved around and I would end up on back. This one is secure, but it took some manipulating. Was suppose to arrive in two days with Prime. Took 4 days! Arrived with a tiny business card with instructions, impossible to read even with magnifying glass. No helpful diagrams; and straps that were separate and no explanation how to use. Emailed the company and I did get a PDF instruction sheet I could, read, still no diagram that showed how to use the additional straps. They were very prompt, so give kudos.. I’ve used one night. The buckle is huge and digs into ribs. Put a washcloth as a barrier to cushion. Straps dangle with nowhere to go, in the way. Surely there is a better invention! As I said it kept me off my back, but what an ordeal getting on and off..most of all trying to figure out what goes where. For this money, at least provide clear instructions and deliver on timr. Will try one more night and decide if I’ll keep it. Guess I need work on my patience and expectations.

Works but lumpy
This backpack works great for keeping you on your side. But it gets very uncomfortable after a few hours. I'm a skinny girl- not much padding. The seams where the shoulder straps meet the waist belt are rather thick and lumpy - woke up with rather painful pressure point pain at the those seam locations. Would recommend if your padded a bit but not if skinny. Hope they try to minimize the seam points down and make them smoother - then would buy again.

This is a product worth trying!
This product is actually great. I tried a smaller mesh vest with a stitched in tennis ball first and it did the job but hurt and would wake me up. This backpack looked too bulky to me but I finally tried it and still use it. It's actually really light weight and does not wake me up like the tennis ball style did. It's worth it and easily flattens down to travel with.

An excellent purchase
We had an earlier version of this product. This pillow is much better designed. We are very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

you will indeed not sleep on your back with this
The product is well made and does the job of forcing you to lie on your side. In contrast to other reviews, my item had no unpleasant smell whatsoever. What one should realize is that a device that blocks you from lying on your back also makes it hard to turn over from side to side. Now did my snoring disappear - not really, as I am capable of snoring on my side as well, but not as much.

Uncomfortable at night
It’s super uncomfortable to sleep with at night. Couldn’t keep it on my back during the night. I tried it with only straps across the chest and waist and since the straps are elastic I was still able to turn to my back

I purchased this despite the mixed reviews and I'm so glad I did. It is effective - forcing me to stay on my side while I sleep thereby reducing my sleep apnea and helping me get a better sleep. Being forced to sleep on one side is never going to be entirely comfortable and I do wake to switch sides but this backpack makes it as comfortable as possible.
